Uncle Andy's Pizza — Restaurant in Berkley

I wanted this to be the best thing ever. I really did. We received a few ads on our door knob to try Uncle Andy's and one night we finally did. We placed an order online on a Saturday night at 8:40 pm. Delivery time was "within 60 minutes" I received a call at 9:24 from the driver. He told me "this is my last delivery of the night did you want to add a tip on the card?" I told him no we have cash... I worked at a pizza shop for 2 years and even delivered pizzas myself. This is not common practice. Finally at 10:31 I heard a knock at the door. The driver borderlined threw the pizza at me and left. No hello, goodbye, is this your order? Nothing. On top of that my pizza was cold. It was a thin crust and it tasted like it sat out a while. I called the pizza shop back but no one answered. They do close on Saturday's at 10pm so it's understandable but I placed the order at 8:40...

Even for a cold pizza it was good! The spicy pepperoni was delicious. I wish we had a fresh pizza and maybe a delivery man that wasn't so bitter but we all have bad nights. Im not sure we'll order from there again...

This place is hands down my favorite spot for pizza. We have been getting pizza every friday from Uncle Andys for years now and it is always fresh and delicious. Weather you prefer round, square, thin and crispy or the deep dish Chicago style you will not be disappointed. The sauce and dough are always fresh and made in house.

Try their excellent chicken wings and tenders also. They have boneless as well as bone in and a verity of very good sauces to cover them in. If you are looking for something lighter you have plenty of excellent options of salads and sandwiches to choose from as well.

The staff works hard and management is always adding new equipment and changing the decor of the place to keep it modern and sleek looking. With this amount of effort and excellent recipies its no wonder this place has been a neighborhood staple for 20+ years. Keep up the great work, you know I will be...

We get pizza from here a few times per month when we don’t want to cook. It’s consistently good and we like the variety of styles. The make excellent versions of Detroit-style square pizza, Chicago-style deep dish, and a traditional round pie. Their grinders are also delish when we want to change it up and the kids always beg for me to add the warm chocolate chip cookie pizza. Salads have also been excellent. We’ve easily had 100+ orders here over the years and have literally NEVER had a bad order or an incorrect item, which is almost unbelievable these days.
