Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Berlin Township

I seriously don't know why we continue to order from here hoping for a different outcome. Ordered online. It gave the normal 20 minute wait time. We get up there 3 minutes early. Husband runs to check and the girl mentions they are about 5 to 10 minutes behind. Okay no problem. 10 minutes later my husband walks in and the same man/host that was there when the hostess informed my husband it was going to be another 10 minutes, informs my husband he cannot allow him in the door and we have to go to the side entrance. One.. I clicked pick up and not curbside. Two its not posted ANYWHERE that the side door is for pick up as well, but I digress.. We drive over to the side entrance and overhear the poor girl informing the woman in the truck that she apologizes for the delay (sounds like the woman had a similar experience) wait another 10 mins that lady whose order should have been ready at 8:05 and its now 8:30 gets her food. Said girl comes out 10 mins later to let us know it will be ANOTHER 10 minutes. At this point our order was placed over 40 mins prior. And they sent like the tiniest poor girl to give all these upset people the news about their order's being delayed. They were not packed by any means or even probably at half capacity. The girl even said there were 3 cooks on. And to make matters better.. we drive home and our food is lukewarm like it had been sitting under some heatlamps. I swear this is the most poorly ran Applebee's in West Michigan. This is literally pretty freaking normal and thats sad. We shouldn't be used to poor customer service and experiences here. Tonite we had the displeasure of meeting the most rude manager(Tina) I've ever had engage us. After receiving a steak that was a quarter inch thick and requesting it to be medium it came well done. So having to watch my wife eat alone and requesting after 20 min of waiting for someone to come over and address the situation she asked if there was anything else I wanted. I said no, because by the time I recieved another steak my wife would be done eating and then she would have to watch me eat. After another 30 min our waitress came by and I stated that it is disappointing that a Manager didn't come back to say anything. And then 10 min later here she comes with the rudest most unapologetic demeanor I've ever been subjected to by a so called manager. She even went on to say that it's not her job to address a possible complaint. Finally I just said to please leave me alone. The other manager (Jake) came out and handled it in a clear, mature, manager like way. Kudos to Jake. On the other hand I feel sorry for anyone else that ever has to meet or otherwise engage with this less than management person named Tina. I would tell you how my food was but only my wife got to eat while I watched her. After being faithful patrons to this establishment for years, I was so upset as to how this Tina treated us that I will never go back to any applebees again, and obviously I was compelled to write this review. Wish I could have left zero stars. Wow what an unpleasant experience .The table next to us was letting their children Run all over the place like a bunch of maniacs. The place was busy, and our waitress,overweight and gross running all over the place and breathing heavy while she took our order. When the appetizer came out It was cold she never checked on it so I returned it myself.I started out with a beer when that was finished I asked for a Coke she said she would get it for me and never did I walked up to the bar and got it myself.I ordered ribs and when they came out they were very dry and cold I was so frustrated by this time I just wanted to pay and leave Complaining was obviously going to get me nowhere hence the appetizer and the coke Or Pepsi whatever it was.
