Culver’s — Restaurant in Berlin Township

I frequent this Culver’s when I visit family in Ionia.. which is once a week.. when I first started going the service at first was great.. but my last two visits was the worse. On April 26, 2025, as I walked in I wasn’t greeted or acknowledged. I stood in line and still no one said anything to me.. a lady walked in from the drive thru she was instantly greeted and jumped in front of me and the staff responded to her promptly, I felt very disrespected & thought it was extremely rude. Now I’m currently with child so after a 2 hour drive I’m extremely hungry so I still decided to order. I typically wait 10-15 minutes for my food.

Fast forward to May 3, 2025 I go through the drive thru & I ordered my food at 1:41pm. I couldn’t get a signal on my phone to unlock my debit card. I told the cashier this & she still insisted on swiping my card! Then proceeded to tell me it was declined. Also when I gave her my name she insisted on changing it. There was absolutely no active listening. So I had to go to the meijers to use their Wi-Fi to unlock my card & then I went back to reorder my food. This was approximately 2:00pm. After placing my order I waited until 2:20 and received the old order from 1:41pm that I had originally ordered. I also have the old ticket on my bag with the time from the original order! Food tasted old and was cold.. I bit into the fries & was extremely upset about it.. I didn’t have time to go back but will return next week to replace my items.. hopefully the customer service is better then what I experienced the last two times..

I called and spoke with the GM Trina and explained what happened & she was very nice and said I can come back and replace my food. I’m hoping something changes...

I just left the Culver’s in Ionia and requested a burger with a gluten free bun. When I was requesting that it be gluten free the person taking my order ( I went through the drive thru ) told another employee oh great in a rude tone because they did not want to do my order even though Culver’s clearly offers gluten free options. They don’t even take the gluten free bun out of the package it comes in when they serve it to you and yet they wanted to complain? SMH. After a long wait for the food they brought everything out but didn’t bring the ice cream I ordered which was the flavor of the day. At this point I left without the ice cream because I was not going to wait any longer. I drive straight home which is only a 2 minute drive from Culver’s to my house and I open my bag to find my burger falling out of the bottom of the box ( as pics show ) because they did not properly put paper in the box to prevent the burger from falling through the box. Beyond disappointment in this experience with Culver’s and this is the second negative experience I’ve had. This one was worth writing...

First time we went food and frozen custard was great. Next time food was so so and the flavor of the day was a joke. The flavor was snickers and they were out of waffle cones then when I pulled up to window they said is chocolate ok as they handed it to me. They did mix the snickers in only sprinkled a little on top which fell off. Instead of the flavor of the day we got chocolate cones. Next time flavor of the day was turtle dove. Mine had some sprinkles of chocolate on top no carmelnor pecans. My wife's had very little chocolate sprinkles, no Carmel and one pecan. I am done with this location which unfortunately Ionia is the town I visit the most. Cascade and W. Saginaw street are the greatlocations, I will continue to go there instead. Sadly...
