Ken’s Farm Market — Local services in Ionia Township

We love shopping here. The produce is great and so is the beer selection. My husband often finds stuff here that he can't find anywhere else. The other day we got blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. One of each. They were 2 for $4. Normally there are at least a couple not great berries and from other stores a lot of not great berries. I often have to cut most of my strawberries away. These berries were not only all good, they were perfect. Every strawberry was big, red and tasty. Some raspberries were a little soft but still good. I'm just amazed and I hope I am out there for more before...

Although Ken's has a wide variety of fruits & vegetables, I only gave them 3 stars because of their employees. Not the experienced women but the high school girls. They have a lot to learn when it comes to customer service. And at least one male manager, because he stood by and never said a word. I posted my review on Facebook, they were tagged by people that know them and they never responded. So in my mind, it tells me they don't care much about their customers. I do enjoy the affordable prices of their produce at Kens. The layout of the store is perfect. By having the fresh produce in the front, you can quickly grab what you are there for without having to walk around the whole store. The smell of the store, however, is a bit off-putting, with there being a section where fresh meat is sold, the smell carries throughout the store and, again, is off-putting to say the least. I've never personally bought the meat at kens. However, I do know people who have talked highly about it before. The meat looks appealing to my eyes and others'...
