Gaetanos West Berlin — Restaurant in Berlin Township

Was in today and ordered a cheesesteak with Peppers, onions and White American, along with the Western Fries and a drink. The fries were perfect, crispy every single one. The Sandwich was good but also not what I ordered. I ended up getting a cheesesteak hoagie with Tomato, and lettuce along with the peppers, onions. Not a deal breaker because I just took off the lettuce and tomato the only minor complaint is it cooled it off a bit. But it was still an amazing sandwich.

If it were just a bit cheaper I'd be back as a regular but for now I think it's a good treat maybe once a month.

Updated review After the owner reached out and I went back in he treated me to a new cheesesteak, this time I went with curly fries as my side with some cheese sauce to dip them in.

Was amazing! And the owner is extremely nice. The way he runs the shop with the amount of business he was getting was incredible he was non stop on the phone, taking orders in person, ensuring the orders were correct and speaking with every guest ensuring their satisfaction.

If you go I recommend the cheesesteak with the western fries. But I would skip the fried onions on the cheesesteak if they aren't your thing (They seem to be cooked in some sort of brown gravy with maybe mushrooms?) I couldn't exactly tell where the flavor was from. But it was good just a heads up if that...

The King of Steaks is back! I used to come here when I first moved in the area a few years ago but had to stop after so many bad experiences with the food. The previous owner really ran the restaurant into the ground. Forget him though as the new owner, Dom, is an awesome dude whose top priorities are quality and satisfaction. Best buffalo chicken around by a longshot. The quality and portions are back up to par with the Gaetano's name you've come to know and love. The prices might seem a little steep up front if you are used to ordering from a lower quality place where one order just fills you up enough. Just wait until you actually taste the amazing food and see how much you get for that price (multiple meals out of one order). It blows my mind how Dom provides high quality meats, in overstuffed portions, and keeps the price where it's at with how expensive everything else is getting. Just left a few hours ago.A gentleman was washing something in the sink with gloves on he then asked if I needed anything? I replied "yes I would like an Italian hoagie" He then turned around wiped his hands on his pants with the gloves on and proceeded to make my sandwich. I noticed that there was soap in the sink from whatever he was cleaning so I told him my wife has a food allergy she's allergic to tomatoes could you please change your gloves? he replied no I haven't touch Tomatoes today okay... I said just to be safe could you please just change your gloves again he looked at me like I had two heads and refused.. I don't know about anyone else but if somebody's making a sandwich for me and they're washing something in a sink with soap and water then turn around and dry their hands off on their pants with the gloves on and try to make a sandwich I'm going to speak out and request that they change them... well, thanks for making it easy for me to never come back..
