It was thanks to Tiktok that I learned about this place! I was scrolling the app like usual, when I came across the park's official website, and thought, "This is perfect for my nephew!" He's a child who loves anything involving vehicles. This is the only Diggerland in the United States, so it's really rare, and therefore a special treat to give to my nephew who could enjoy a unique experience at a park catered to his interests.
On March 29th, 2025, I went with him and my mother to Diggerland; the Spring day pass tickets costed $137.97 for three people, and that did not include the water park since it is closed until the summer season.
We arrived at 12pm and left around 4pm, and during the entirety of our visit, I never felt like it got super crowded. The park has several rides that accommodate large groups, so it makes the lines very short. Even if it looks long at first, give it a couple minutes and soon enough, you will be seated with the other 13 people waiting in line with you. Majority of rides involve sitting in a construction vehicle, being either driven or lifted in the air, which is as mild of fun as it gets. There is also an arcade, but I recommend avoiding that if you want to save money. This park is fitting for families with small children, the elderly, or those who have a low tolerance for extreme thrills.
For me, I could've used some more excitement. My 5-year old nephew, who's not a big risk taker, went on rides that as one operator put it, is so boring that it, "puts kids to sleep." It's great for the views of the park, but getting your heart racing is another story. I still had fun, but more so because I liked seeing my nephew enjoy himself. His favorite quote-on-quote "ride" was the 'Hook & Ladder' where he could explore different trucks, including a firetruck and an ambulance. As for my favorite ride, it was the 'Spin Dizzy' where you're spun around in the air by a JCB.
The food and drinks tasted good; I tried their chicken nuggets and fries with freshly squeezed lemonade. Careful though, the lemonade is so fresh that they put two half lemons in the drinks. I noticed this after I was caught off guard by lemon seeds being sucked through my straw. The bathrooms were clean and abundant, with wheelchair accessible ramps. The parking lot is free and has ample spaces to choose from.
In order to leave the park, you must exit through their gift shop, which is as blatant of a tourist trap as I've ever seen. However, if you wish to re-enter the park, you can do so by getting your hand stamped by an employee before exiting the gift shop. Then you'll show that stamp at the entrance; this is helpful in cases like ours where we wanted to save the food we bought for later and left it in the car so it wouldn't be a hindrance when we got on rides.
So would I recommend this place? Yes, but for specific groups of people. As said earlier, this would bring the most joy to those with small children who are experiencing rides for the first time, older people that don't want to be tossed around like they would on a roller coaster, and people in general who would rather embrace the gentle breeze of the air rather than it getting whipped in their face. As a young adult who enjoys coasters, I felt unfulfilled in my quest for excitement, but if this visit brought a smile to my nephew's face, then the experience...
Read moreThis is one of the best places I’ve ever visited on earth! Me and my wife just went to Sesame place and was wondering what else to do with our 3 kids for the summer. She saw adds on Facebook so we said let’s give the park a chance. Man I had no idea it would be this much fun! The fact the park focuses on construction themed rides allows the kids and adults to experience something new! My kids got a chance to operate machines for the first time which is amazing to me. You never know how these experience can shape a child’s life. The staff is amazing, they are so kind and so well trained! The park is super clean and the entry was super fast! My one big problem with parks are wait times. We didn’t have to wait for anything. You check in fast, you have short walks to the water park. The water park is set up in a way that allows you to enjoy each section very quickly. Plus all ages can have fun in each part of the water park. I’m love the lifeguards because they did not play games with safety. They had their whistles and they used them to keep everybody safe. It’s like you have concern parents as life guards that have your back as you watch your own kids. Man to be honest we felt so safe at the park. We felt welcomed as if it was our second home. The other people in the park were so nice as well. The summer camps were very respectful as well. So for all the people at act civil and the park be super clean and safe and way tooooo much fun. We spent the entire day at the park. The best part the staff did not kick us out they let us ride all the way up until closing. Then you saw the staff outside together cleaning up the parking lots and talking about their day! It felt like real life at this park. Didn’t feel like a digital work in 2025! This park feels like life! The family has decided this is a mainstay moving forward. We will be adding it to our summer vacations yearly now. Coming from New York it’s not that bad of a drive so I encourage everybody who is local or at least 3 hour drive away to make the trip and enjoy life! I would add more pictures but, it’s not safe to put kids online. So I’ll only add 3 images. Trust me tho you can see the excitement on our faces. Before I forget the price for a family of 5 along with the voucher for free ice cream that taste amazing and a free refillable cup for juice is icing on top of the cake. We did not need to pack juice for the trip we just brought water bottles for the drive. Love the CEO, and his staff. Love their funny videos on Instagram. Buy your tickets in advance guys so you can see the options before you get to the park. Also get to the park as soon as they open, so you can get ever exciting second in the park. Take pictures and share your excitement with the world! Everybody needs this experience to feel...
Read moreI wanted to share something so important! I own a daycare so I brought the daycare kids there with parents, and we happened to celebrate one of the kids birthdays! The kids were ages 1-4 years old ! Even with that age its still alot to do, no they cant do all the rides but there are a bunch parents cam drive with them or put them on the lap. The water side is everyone friendly, and its like a playground there too. So it's really for everyone! But i wanted to experience the whole park. We did see online you cant bring outside food in so we left out the park after going to the water side first and having an amazing time, came out changed, then ate on the picnic tables located outside. Just a heads up for anyone that doesn't know. So fast forward my brother whose 8 wanted to go! So this time i took my siblings age 8,10, and 11 because of their heights they could drive some vehicles, get on all the rides, and do the rope course. They were upset when we had to eventually leave because they LOVED IT THERE! Now back to the important part this was June 23 , 2024 last Sunday! Im very big on safety and all my siblings wore life vest. Theres like a course on the right side of the super large water slide where you can walk/climb across this inflated course. I know everyone is aware of what happened at Liberty camp in NJ with the child passing because no one was paying attention in the deep in, he was a beginner swimmer , with someone paid to watch him. Now when my brother whose 8 jumped in at Diggerland with the life vest on I turned to walk around to look at a different view (my mom was there watching! ). And he immediately started freaking out because he didn't know it was as deep as it was but I didnt see my back was turned. He popped right back up with his life vest and when i tell you by the time he popped up the lifeguard from Diggerland was there Immediately! Before i even realized what happened, he had my brother! So i wanted to give the biggest shout out because safety is #1 at diggerland, and had the camp Liberty had someone as cautious as diggerland a life would be saved. My brother was always going to pop back up because they have free vest, but kids freak out sometimes. So just that over cautious nature , BIG SHOUT OUT! Dude deserves his props! Its never any wait, all the staff are kind! All of them! There was a guy who was super funny on the ride once you leave the water side, its like a train looking one with like 18 seats, before you walk down the zigzag walk way. The way they are very big on keeping people hydrated at this park is awesome too. Theres fans with water spraying on you as you walk! No wait time either coming in, but I got my tickets...
