I think being from Southern California has definitely showed me what good Mexican food is. This place made me want to cry and miss my home because the food was very sad. Canned refried beans and flavorless salsa, the burrito had way to much cheese and pretty much no meat. I ordered a chili Verde burrito and I am so disappointed 😞 just look at the pictures. It's just cheese mostly and some beans. Never again will I attempt to go to a "Mexican" Restaurant in vermont. Oh and that nasty burrito was 18 bucks!!!!! Never again! Edit, I should add that the pork chili Verde meat was good just wish I had more meat and more of the chili verde sauce. It was pretty much all cheese. If you look at the photo you can see all that white stuff is cheese. The rice was good but the beans not so much because it's canned beans. I'm gonna take a trip to Mexico city soon to try some food there so I'm gonna compare sorry. Yes I'm sure it's different in every region but try to make some real beans next time and try to not add so much cheese. There was enough cheese in that burrito to make a small pizza 🍕 add more meat please! I trusted to paid 18 bucks for a Chili Verde burrito not a cheese burrito!!!! Stop ripping people off. If this is your family recipe to rip people off then...

Well as a Mexican what can I say 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve lost hope of finding anything authentic out here in the New England area. I had high hopes for this joint but sadly freshness is lacking. Obviously they must cater to their consumers and loose along the way the authentic part. We ordered lunch for ouselves and our crew and the service was fast and very nice. The food for me was lacking and to be honest tasted old of course reheated. I also purchased some items in their small store. I was excited I found canned mangos of a familiar brand to me as I’m from Chicago. When I opened the can at home something was off. Really off! I looked at the expiration date only to read it was expired. Smh. Do better Arandas!!! How long was that canned good sitting on your shelf? I didn’t bother calling the place and letting them know bcuz as a client I expect them to do their job and serve fresh...

Best and ONLY authentic Mexican foodi have come across in the state. Part of me never wants to tell anyone so it’s a secret, yet everyone needs to know because they deserve as much business as possible. I wasn’t going to write a review but after reading the negative reviews I had to post . We are in Vermont, about as white and plain as it gets as far as people and their taste. Most of these negative reviews really show you that… to salty?? Too spicy?? Expensive?? Go to taco bell people with Americanized “Mexican” food. It’s a shame because this food is authentic and made with pride. If ya know ya know, if you don’t then you never have had true Mexican cuisine. Go to Burlington and have a white college kid make your taco and enjoy. Keep doing what you do guys, this food warms my soul....

In from Chicago and was told this was a good spot to hit up. Stopped by with my brother and was very, very impressed. I went with the pastor tacos (snapped the pic after eating two of the tacos), and they tasted like one of the taco spots it regularly hit up on Chicago. There was a Jalapeno salsa that was OUT OF THIS world, and the staff I encountered was very, very friendly. The meal I had was pretty filling. I fly out on Sunday and just told my brother I may have to go back and try the rice.

I was excited to try out this place. Cute Mexican atmosphere in a gas station. As I am learning Spanish and heard everyone in the open kitchen speaking Spanish, I tried to order in Spanish, but was continually answered in English. This didn’t feel very welcoming as I know I sound like a gringo but I was making an effort. Overall, I found the service to be cold. In spite of the service, The food was delicious. The vegetarian taco portion seemed small for the cost.
