Delicious Food, Though Water Stains Disappointed at Applebee's
I recently visited Applebee's, and I must say that the overall dining experience was quite enjoyable. The restaurant offered a satisfying variety of dishes that pleased my taste buds. However, one small issue that slightly tarnished the experience was the presence of water stains on the dishes.
Let's start with the positives. The food at Applebee's was delicious and well-prepared. From the appetizers to the main course and desserts, each dish showcased flavorful ingredients and skillful execution. The menu offered a good range of options, catering to various preferences and dietary restrictions. I particularly enjoyed the juicy burgers, tender steaks, and flavorful pasta dishes. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation of the food was visually appealing.
While the quality of the food itself was impressive, I did notice water stains on some of the dishes. These stains were minor and did not affect the taste or hygiene of the food, but they were noticeable enough to be slightly off-putting. It would have been ideal if the restaurant had paid more attention to the cleanliness and appearance of the dishes before serving them.
Despite this small issue, the service at Applebee's was friendly and attentive. The staff members were welcoming, and our orders were taken promptly. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations when needed. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, with comfortable seating and a relaxed ambiance that made for an enjoyable dining experience.
In terms of pricing, Applebee's offered good value for the quality and portion sizes of the food. The prices were reasonable, considering the enjoyable dining experience and the flavorsome dishes served. The menu also featured some attractive deals and promotions, making it even more appealing.
In conclusion, Applebee's provided a delicious dining experience with a diverse menu and flavorful dishes. While the presence of water stains on some of the plates was a minor disappointment, it did not overshadow the overall positive experience. I would recommend Applebee's for those seeking a satisfying meal in a relaxed and...
Read moreUnderstaffed by young women who were clearly exhibiting their negativity regarding the obvious lack of adequate staff. Short and terse communication that made my wife and me feel to be more of an inconvenience than an opportunity to earn a good tip. The riblets were nearly warm and dry. They shared no resemblance to their photos displayed on the menu. The french fries we were served were room temperature and had the consistency of leftovers out from under the heat lamps in a warming tray, not fresh from the fryer. Our table had no salt/pepper shakers nor coffee/tea sweeteners. I ordered iced tea, my wife ordered Coke Zero. In a dismissive tone my wife was told, we have Diet Coke...so, that's what she ordered. When the young lady returned with our drinks she asked what we wanted. As it had been years since our last visit to an Applebee's so we requested more time to review the menu...she bruskly turned and walked away BEFORE I could even request sweetener for my tea...And A Spoon To Stir It With! She returned to get our order, again. We placed our orders wherein I requested sweetener and a spoon. She reached over to the table behind my wife and snatched up the little bowl of sweeteners, plopped it down on the table and walked off, again. I caught her walking to the front of the restaurant to seat another couple and asked her, Again, for a spoon to stir my iced tea...upon her return she presented me with A Soup Spoon which was so short I could not properly stir my tea to disperse the Splenda sweetener in my tea. Clearly, this young woman was wanting to be ANYWHERE than in your Applebee's on 550Hwy in Bernalillo, NM. I left her a $2.00 tip and asked for a printed receipt in an effort to give her an opportunity to inquire how our meal was, as she never stopped at our table after delivering our lousy food, to see how we were doing. As a former business owner, I would NOT want her to be the "Face Of Applebee's" in my business. It is not my practice to pan another person's business, my previous reviews have not been this negative, ever before, however; this experience was a compelling example of possibly the WORST service and lousy...cold, dry food we've experienced in New Mexico. Regrettably,...
Read moreWorst restaurant I have ever been to. I have been several times to this location. primarily due to location to hotel. Every time has been a disaster. Terrible service, food cold, bad attitudes from staff if they even acknowledge you.
A visit 2 months ago, food frozen when brought to table, and a fraudulent charge to my Visa for for the bill and another charge right after for $600. Vowed never to return. Addressed issues with assistant manager and was told " Ya we know. oh well, what you gonna do"
Though after 2 months changes may have been made. I was wrong.
October 7, 2024 - Waited 20 minutes for hostess to greet me at front. There was hostess, bartender, 2 servers, and a total of 18 patrons counting myself. After getting seated, another 15 minutes before waitress came by. I ordered boneless chicken wings and a 12 oz ribeye. Another 30 minute wait.my food arrived. I was last person to leave after the football game.
I lost 2 days of work due to food poisoning. I dared not leave the hotel bathroom for the next 2 days. Needless to say I will NEVER eat at that restaurant again. Nor do I trust the brand and chain because of how they handle the food.
I would give them negative 20 starts if I could. This restaurant should be closed in the interest of...
