Del Taco — Restaurant in Bernalillo

I was extremely excited to try del taco but I really should have gone anywhere else. I have never tasted a chicken so gross and mis flavored, so many seasoning with a taste of weeks old water in the chicken. For some reason the carnitas had the aroma of a beer, and taste almost as suck as well. The steak taco looked like beyond meat and the corn tortilla was still raw not warmed enough to be soft to fold it was cracking. Hoping for a good recommendation we asked the lady in the window she suggested the epic burrito and nothing else, I really should have taken that as a sign that over 20plus items on the menu and he safe go to was a ground beef burrito? Everything was absolutely underwhelming, a waste of time, and money. We even had to go all the way back because there was no chicken in the first quesadilla, which was for a kid. Nothing besides fries and beans and cheese was kid friendly either. We got extra fries trusting the sign that said best fries, no they were not. Idk if the oil was not changed or those fries did not get drained correctly but they tasted and felt like oil. My stomach hurts from trying any of this food. The best part was the hi c fruit punch, even the dr.pepper did not have syrup flavor only carbonation. I would love yo speak to a manger this was an extremely unpleasant experience! Traveling with my family and order food at Bernalillo location while staying at hotel across the street. It said food would be ready at 12:53 i didnt get it until 2:18. In the 1.5 hours i sat in line only 4 customers were helped. Countless left as the line sat at a dead stop. Employees just standing around. One was talking on his cell phone wearing his food prep gloves. When i got my bag it felt light for 6 people i ordered for so I started going through it and the guy glared at me. I said well is it all here and he said yeah we all just went through it. I get back to hotel at now 230 am to feed kids and half my orders missing. All options for contact on website are conveniently down and I have no desire to go sit in line for another 1.5 hours to get it. Will never eat at a Del Taco again. I dont understand how this place is even in business. I want a refund maybe someone will see this and let me know when their web will be fixed.

My husband placed an order on the mobile app at 2:30pm for a BOGO burrito. At 2:48 he calls to tell me he still didn’t have his order and was going to be late for his 3pm appointment. When he questioned one of the employees about his order (which mind you there is NO ONE tending to the front desk), the employee flustered and mumbled they were getting it ready. Another 10min go by with no order insight, my husband then had to leave as he was now significantly late to his appointment only to walk out empty handed having paid for an order on the app that he NEVER received. The service is disgraceful, and the lack of care and attentiveness speaks volumes. If I could give zero stars I would. I highly doubt this “fast” food location will continue to be in business unless they make some significant improvements to their customer service….I won’t...
