My husband went to pick up a mobile order we placed online. When he arrived, he gave them the correct name, listed the contents of the order, and even confirmed the address associated with the pickup. Despite all that, the staff refused to give him the food. They told him he needed to “prove” it was his order, even though he provided every detail they asked for. We share the same last name, and it was very clear he was there for a pickup, yet they treated him like he was trying to steal the order.
Instead of working with him, they made him come all the way back home just to get me. When I returned to McDonald’s with him, I brought the mobile order on my phone, showing the name, address, and full order details clearly. Even then, they still refused to hand it over immediately, saying they needed to check with a manager first. This wasted even more of our time, two separate trips, and extra gas, just to pick up a simple order we had already paid for.
The worst part was the attitude of the young woman working the register. She was extremely rude, dismissive, and seemed completely uninterested in trying to resolve the situation professionally. Rather than being helpful or apologetic for the inconvenience, she acted like we were the ones causing a problem.
Mistakes happen, but the way this situation was handled with hostility, suspicion, and a complete lack of customer service was unacceptable. We understand wanting to make sure orders go to the right people, but there are far better and more respectful ways to handle it than what we experienced. We left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and honestly a little shocked by how poorly the staff treated us over something so simple.
We will not be returning to this location and I hope management addresses these issues because this experience was truly...
Read moreI rarely visit this McDonald's because my experiences here are less than satisfactory. Hard to tell if it is managent or staffing, since management is responsibe for the performance of the staff lets go with management.
Customer service at the franchise on 7031 Ogden Ave. is meaely implied and not the standard of the MC Donalds Corporation since other franchises take it seriously.
I have yet to visit this franchise, regardless of the time of day and have a good experience. What a shame since it is close to home and I can bring the family unmelted Icecream on a hot summer day.
I always use the drive through since I work late and I am usually grabbing something for the family. My daughter and I often kid about the service but it really seems to be getting worse.
Today 5/11/19 I tried getting breakfast for my family so I can focus on my home projects. What a joke, the inside lane (the I happen to in) was moving at a pace 1 to 3 compared to the outside lane. I think the girl taking the orders in that lane forgot she actually had to do work. Not sure, maybe she thought the head set was Beats Audio and she was trying to tune into her favorite station.
Well beside poor service, the food is hardly ever ready. My last three experiences I had to pull into pickup lane with about 5 other customers. Why have two drive through lanes if the food cannot get to any faster?
Well I am definitely done with this franchise, and if Mc D corporation shut it down due to poor service even better, something they should consider...
Read moreONE STAR. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! ONE. SINGLE. STAR. This McDonald's is an absolute JOKE. I walked in, ready for a quick bite, and walked straight into a NIGHTMARE. The lobby was packed, but that's not the worst of it. The wait time was absolutely INSANE. I'm talking prehistoric levels of waiting. I could have hunted my own McChicken, raised the chickens, processed the meat, and invented the McChicken sandwich myself in the time it took to get my order. And when I FINALLY got to the counter, the manager… that woman with the glasses… she was the EPITOME of rudeness. Snapping at customers, sighing dramatically, like we were all personally inconveniencing her by daring to want to buy food. I asked (calmly, because clearly someone has to be the adult here) about the delay, and she just gave me this withering look and mumbled something about being short-staffed. Newsflash: being short-staffed is no excuse for treating paying customers like garbage. This McDonald's needs a serious attitude adjustment, and it needs to start at the top, with that manager. I'm beyond disappointed. I'm talking "I'm writing a scathing Google review and telling all my friends to avoid this place like the plague" level of disappointed. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else. You've...
