My experience today at this Sonic's was horribble. I really hate this location ....its the closest to my house. I really love Sonic's. Usually I pick up some cheese sticks or a sweet tea or lastly my favorite Banana Split. I will never ever eat another banana split here again in my entire life. After watching this manager prepare it for me, I'm done. I claim he was a manager because he wore all black as opposed to the other workers blue and red. This gentle was doing to many things at once for starters while handling my food ESPECIALLY my banana for my dish. HE threw something in the trash, then went to cut my banana on this table ......I'm thinking okay he dont have on any gloves soooo I know he's not gonna touch my banana with his bare hands RIGHT...... WRONG!!! This guy cut the banana then peeled it and took my banana out with his bare hands.....GERMS CENTRAL thats totally UNACCEPTABLE. The young man who brought my dish out didn't have me any napkins.... I'm furious at this point. I requested to get my money back and came up with a lame excuse stating it wasn't enough ice cream because I didn't wanna cause a scene. I'm thinking the manager was gonna come out to see what's wrong and why I wanted my refund and boy was I WRONG again, he clearly didn't give a flying monkey's butt as to why I really wanted a refund. For starters I work in the medical profession and if I have to be aware of what can harm my patients surely you can do the same for your customers especially with food. HE don't strike me as a leader. He wasn't concerned at all. Next time I will drive all the way to hueytown, valley ave, or irondale where the level of service I experience couldn't compare to these rude kids who don't give a care....It seems to me the only people I see getting better service here is someone they know or family friends etc. CUSTOMER SERVICE MATTERS YOUNG PEOPLE!!!!!! NOt to mention the young man who brought out the banana split was saying DAYUM she want her money back...... I was thinking to myself you darn right!!!!! I will drive the earth for great customer service....now dont get me wrong the young ladies here are awesome even when they don't have to be but the young men need to learn to be more patient and more aware of what come out there mouth and what not. Sorry for the typos but I'm am one mad customer because it's a shame I have to ride all over the world for great service especially when my house is right up the road. I will not accept poor service maybe i can bring my Boxer here to eat...
Read moreLet me start by saying, the manager did what she could to remedy my situation. That being said, I had a terrible experience today with this America's Favorite Drive In. I used the Sonic App for lunch. As I pulled up to check in just after 11:30am, someone else was using the empty stall via the App. I moved to the next stall and entered the new number. Once checked in, my profile appeared on the screen and showed my food was being prepared. Within minutes the status changes to "on the way". I waited 10 min then. No food, no response when pressing the red button. I called and got a busy message. At ten til noon, I pressed the button once more. They finally answered and said they would be right there. I waited two min and drove away. I had to be back at work by noon. After work, I returned to this Sonic and explained my situation to the manager who was very nice. She immediately reviewed my order, offered me an extra item and sent my order to the kitchen. Within minutes, she returned with my order and three coupon tokens. I thought the situation was resolved. Here is what I ordered vs what I received:

Read moreI just went thru the order stall and I tried to place an order for just a large strawberry milkshake that's all. An easy order !!!! The lady on the headset that was talking to me was very rude, nasty attitude, got smart with me from the beginning. She asked me "will you be paying with cash or card?" I said to her "both." Then she said to me "if I still wanted the shake because they can't do both." I replied to her"yes." Then she's running her mouth about me not knowing that I can hear everything she is saying word by word. And she keeps repeating herself about"can't do both." NOT KNOWING.... That I used to work in a drive through at a restaurant and yes you can do both types of payment methods. So I just rolled my window up n left pissed off, aggravated, etc. One loss of a sale all because she can't do both. When the company can. It's a choice is why. Long lines. So in the end, I didn't get nothing at all whatsoever. Instead of helping me. Argues with me. Etc....
