Clove & Cedar Coffeebar — Restaurant in Bethany Beach

We stumbled upon Clove & Cedar on their opening day. The owner Janet was welcoming new customers as they walked in and even remembered us on our second day back. We were blown away by the staff every single person behind the counter was super friendly which is rare to find such an incredible staff in one place.

Love that they asked for feedback as we got drinks and were willing to hear opinions.

Last but not least we have finally discovered the perfect matcha latte after being on the hunt for the last few years within a 30 minute radius.

Although there is only a few bar stools for seating it is the perfect grab and go place and the even have a selection of pasteries including vegan and gluten free option.

They have a unique menu items that make them stand out from most other coffee shops in the area like the matchaade, espresso tonic, cardamom rose chai, blue basil iced tea and cherry lemonade.

Visited this coffee shop two days in a row. Both visits the staff were friendly and the drinks were delicious. It was hard to choose which drink I wanted because they have so many amazing offerings.

If you’re looking for a good coffee shop in Bethany, look no further. Clove & Cedar is all you need. I can’t wait to come back tomorrow!

Day 1: espresso tonic- Lightly sweet from the tonic water, but so bright and refreshing. The espresso was not at all acidic. Garnished with a dehydrated lemon which adds a cute touch.

One of the smoothest and tastiest cold brews I’ve ever had! Met Janet, the owner who was so delightful, friendly and welcoming. FYI- Janet brews her cold brew in the evenings after they close which gives it such great flavor! The other team members were all smiles and super friendly.
