Some of the best pizza you will ever taste. The presentation itself is pretty cool: pizza sauce and cheese presented in swirling pattern on the pie. But, it doesn’t stop there. They have a blend of seasonings in the sauce that just pops with every bite. Definitely oregano and garlic, not heavy on onions or peppers. A perfect balance of sweet and tang. The sauce is intertwined with a tasty blend of mozzarella and cheddar, giving the cheese a nice bite. The crust is thin, but not a cracker. It has great flavor, and you can taste the ‘burnt’ underside from the ovens. We also decided to order a caprese salad with balsamic glaze. If I didn’t love the pizza so much, I would’ve eaten that all night. There was a healthy portion of tomato chunks in with arugula, drizzled with that sweet glaze along with sweet, creamy slices of mozzarella. Yum! Definitely, an alternative if you don’t want pizza. The XL pizza is our usual order, and the pie plate is cleaned off easily. Also, don’t forget to drink it down with PA Dutch birch beer. The two just go getter so well. I called and asked for the Daily Double Deal with 2 large pizzas for $18.99 that is advertised online. They said it wasn't available. Fine, we ordered anyway. We ordered 3 large pizzas (1 cheese, 1 pepperoni, 1 bakers choice), a side salad and 2 orders of onion rings. On the phone we were told the total was $81.43. Unbelievable! We placed the order anyway and agreed it would be the last. The pizza was delivered and we paid in cash. After we sit down to eat the delivery guy was knocking at the door again. He said we didn't give him enough money that the total was $88 something. I asked him to see the receipt and he said he gave it to us. The only receipt I had did not have a dollar amount. He couldn't provide me with a receipt. I should have called the store. I instead just gave him $90.00 total for him to go away. The pizza was terrible. Given the prices we expected more. You definitely don't get what you pay for here. We will NEVER eat there again and I hope that you will not give them your money either. There were so many red flags. I should have read the online reviews before ordering! ...

We have gone to this restaurant twice in the last 8 days. Both times it was EXCELLENT!!!! The place is CLEAN! The food was PERFECT just as we ordered. The staff the first time was a young lighter skinned black man that was on the bar side, full of personality and on top of everything! Flat out exceptional! I hope someone reads this that knows him, that is why I have described him in detail. (I didn't want someone to be offended) The second trip the waitress might have been busy, but the New Manager of the store came up to us and asked what we needed ( drink refills and they had forgotten my son's garlic bread) and she was on top of EVERYTHING!!! Even checking behind the girl that was cleaning the bathrooms!!! She was a darker skinned black lady with braids in a pony tail! Grottos you better keep her!!!! She is a absolute asset to your business. I want to make sure she is recognized. Where my husband was in the car service industry as a Manager he gave her a thank you and made sure she knew how much we appreciated her!
