South Coastal Library — Attraction in Bethany Beach

I have been to several libraries around the area, and I am always the most comfortable in this one. The furniture is great for hanging out and reading or getting some work done. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Not once have I seen an unhappy patron at this location. The staff seems to go above and beyond to help the people coming in for specific reasons.

The whole library is very clean and well organized. They typically always have donations for pets in the lobby. The number of activities/classes/programs they offer is fantastic. The puzzles they leave out for the public to do are always fun.

The library provides many quality resources, from the staff, programs, facilities and tons of information and entertaining data in many mediums. From paper periodicals and books of all genres for all ages to electronic media (eBooks, CD, DVD, computers). There is easy access to media from all, state wide DE Public Libraries and some Colleges to order, pick up and return here. There's also an accredited eUniversity that you can take classes at home for free. Many activities, classes, seminars, movies, music, (informative and/or entertaining) presentations and diverse clubs offered and hosted here. It's The Place for intellectual stimulation and social interaction for ages 1-99, with varied interests and needs. Oh! It's actual name is South Coastal Library and Cultural Center....

This library has been such a wonderful resource to my family as we have spent years of summers visiting Bethany. I'm pleased with the books selections for the different age groups including adults; and the children's area is so wonderful to spend time in and a break from the sun.
