I would never go anywhere else for Chinese food. No. One Chinese Restaurant is the best on the entire shore line. Thanks No. One, you are the best!!

9-21-2024 Update: No 1 Chinese Restaurant is the best on the entire shoreline. The people that work there are very kind and always get the order correct. The quality of the food is excellent! They give large portions and the prices are very fair. Their pork egg foo young is absolutely delicious and it is my favorite. No 1 is the best by far. Excellent food and an excellent business. Thanks No. 1.

4-6-2022: I have reviewed this restaurant before and wanted to send an update. We ordered from Number 1 Chinese last night and the food was better then ever, if that is possible. What a joy to have such a fabulous restaurant so close to home. We are truly blessed to have such fine people running this establishment. We ordered scallops, which we always get and 2 combination platters. The food was simply amazing and the serving sizes were great. Delicious, hot, fresh, well cooked food in 15 minutes. Unbelieveable!!! Thanks so much Number 1 Chinese!!! You should be very proud of all that you have accomplished!!!

Previous rating: We have been eating Number 1 Chinese food for many years. Their food is absolutely amazing. The staff is extremely kind and efficient! We have never rec'd an incorrect order, everything is always perfect!!! Although there are other Chinese restaurants in the area, we never order from any of them, we always go to Number 1. No food could be better then Number 1's. We live in Ocean View, DE and tell everyone about the wonderful meals we get from Number 1. The carryout portion of the restaurant is always clean and tidy. Thank goodness for Number 1, the best...

If there were more stars available I would give them. We've been coming here for almost 5 years now and they keep getting better and better (if that's possible). First, the Service is excellent! When we call they know who we are and even know our favorite dishes and how we like them prepared. They have always been friendly and efficient. The place is clean and well lit. They definitely observe all Covid precautions. Second, the main reason to go to a restaurant is the food. Theirs is always super hot and delicious. Their ribs are the meatiest I've ever eaten and the WonTon soup is as tasty as could be. The shrimp in the shrimp with lobster sauce is very large and always clean (no vein). The rice is cooked to perfection as are the spring rolls. Great food, great service and definitely Covid compliant!!! I highly recommend Number 1...

Do not order Uber eats through this business! I called letting them know to get it rectified that they had not given us our two egg rolls or our 2 pork fried rice with our combination dinners and the lady ARGUED with me we do not deliver and we do not work with Uber eats either. I said your Chinese 1 in Bethany on Garfield? She said yes, I said okay then that’s it. She said no it’s not us! You got yours from ocean city, they take no responsibility!
