Six of us came for breakfast on Sunday. It was busy and we waited about 20 mins. No problem. We were seated and the waiter, Logan, took our order. He brought us our coffee, but there was no half and half on the table, just non-dairy creamer. We told him and it took him a good while to bring it. In the mean time, I took it from another table. Then two other servers brought our food to five of us. My husband's meal did not come. We waited. In the meantime, one us of was not happy with her "warmed-up" bread. She wanted the toast. Another server, I did not get her name, walked by and we nabbed her. We told her about the toast and that my husband had not gotten his breakfast. She went and got both for us. We appreciated it and thanked her. In all this time, our server, Logan, had not come to our table to check on anything at all! He was working at the counter. Then another member of our group pointed out to this other server that we were now out of coffee . She was very snippy (and I'm being kind here) and declared that she was not our server, but she went and got another carafe of coffee and put it on our table. Many minutes later, Logan finally came and checked on us. By that time, everything had been taken care of by the other server. We told him we were fine.

Now, it seems to me that the second server should have voiced her displeasure with Logan and not with us. We were never rude to her. I understand that she had her own tables to take care of. At that point, she should have alerted Logan.

I think I can safely say that we will not be back to this...

I've liked this chain since I first ran into it in the Washington DC area over a decade ago. So, I am very pleased to see it expanding in the Pittsburgh area. This location opened in late January 2022 and we got a chance to try it out for breakfast on a Monday morning. The interior has the same decoration style as the Bridgeville location.

Being a Monday morning, the place was almost empty which was good for us. The hostess told us that it was mobbed over the weekend so we were happy to have waited. They have an outdoor seating area which will be well used in the warmer and nicer weather days.

The menu is the same as all the other location and we took advantage of one of the specials - the pancakes with the extra seeds and nuts - which was excellent; as well as an "oldie but goodie" - the biscuits and gravy - which was also done to perfection.

About the only negative comment I have to make is that prices have gotten quite high. For the two of us, breakfast ended up costing $40 which is very pricey. Inflation is really a factor, and $3 per cup of coffee is also quite steep. Oh well.

We will still come back and still...

Title: Exceptional Brunch & Outstanding Service from Trevon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying brunch here, and everything from start to finish was spot-on. The food was fresh, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious—each dish felt crafted with care.

What truly made the experience stand out, though, was our waiter, Trevon. From the moment we sat down, he greeted us with a warm smile and an easygoing, professional demeanor that instantly put us at ease. He knew the menu inside and out, offered thoughtful recommendations, and somehow always appeared at just the right moment check if we needed anything.

Trevon has that rare combination of attentiveness and genuine friendliness that turns a meal into a memorable occasion. His attention to detail and pride in his work were clear in every interaction, and it’s the kind of service that keeps people coming back.

If you’re looking for a spot with delicious brunch and truly exceptional service, ask for Trevon—you won’t be...

We visited first watch on Sienna Drive June 4, 2024. The menu offered is casual breakfast and lunch. I got a Monterey turkey club sandwich ($11.79) with included small side salad, that was 6/10. My wife ordered half a salad and half a sandwich. This restaurant is a casual experience and patrons are expected to pay at the register. For a casual lunch or breakfast experience First Watch was fine. Upon paying my bill, the debit card machine gave tip choices for 20% and higher. Of course there was another category which I chose as this restaurant does not warrant a tip of 20%, 25%, and more. I needed to remind the cashier to give me a receipt. Their tipping recommendations are much too high for a casual restaurant.

Heard about this restaurant, in town so I decided to try it out. The server was not attentive. Only asking " is everything good"? before even eating shows a lack of consideration. Lemon Ricotta pancakes were fair. The eggs and bacon was not. Eggs tasted like they were powered, with onions & salted. Heavy/too much garnish. Bacon was dry, bland in flavor. Instead of making this into a meal, the server decided to charge for everything individually, making it $28!? Overpriced and disappointing.
