The ambience here is rather nice however there is very little privacy and you seem to be forced to listen to everyone else's conversation from any seat in the restaurant. My husband had sashimi and I had the ramen with pork ribs, the broth was very sour and it was without question the worst Ramen I've ever had in my life. Do not come here for ramen! If you are in the area and you want ramen go to stamina ramen on Wisconsin, much more delicious and flavorful. The ramen at Raku made me sick at my stomach, the sashimi wasn't much better. Service was good, but when I asked for modifications on my dish I was told no. Is recommend you find another restaurant. This one...
Read moreMy wife and I always enjoy dining at Raku. The food is consistent and of high quality, with numerous options to satisfy any taste. I go for the sushi while my wife orders the bento box, containing a variety of tempura dishes, salad, and miso. I tried their Black Snake sushi roll for the first time, and it was amazing. The spicy tuna roll is also a favorite. The restaurant has also undergone a face lift, which adds to the overall experience. Prices are consistent with other Japanese restaurants in their class. Our dinner, with drinks, cost $100. Service was prompt and attentive. Recommend getting a reservation on weekends. Overall, I highly...

The "Ocean Spring Rolls" lacked flavor and were not helped by a sauce which can only be generously described as unhelpful. "Crispy Szechuan Chicken" was crispy and the sauce was spicy enough for American tastes but the addition of cilantro ruined the dish-my neighbor sent it back as "horrible". Without the cilantro it would have been quite acceptable. The White Snake and Red Dragon rolls were very good. Desert was a take on La Belle Helen with a well done poached red bosc pear which I garnished with green tea ice cream instead of the...
