Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Big Bear Lake

BIG BEAR CALIFORNIA LOCATION: Horrible Service!!! Let me start off with the Philly Cheese Steak - Excellent!!! However, the service on this location in Big Bear California is HORRIBLE!!! For the last 3-years, we decided to have Jersey Mike's for the 4th of July fireworks at night. Two years in a row, we went in and ordered and had to wait 55 minutes in 2021 and 1.25 hours in 2022. We understand that it's a holiday, but this location should know that and staff it appropriately. Now (July 4th, 2023), we decided to order ahead. We placed our order and the conformation was the two sandwiches would be ready in 15 minutes (PS - the 2-years prior, we were told the long wait was due to orders placed online), so we placed the order online, arrived 20 minutes after placing the order and they hadn't even started the order. Ended up waiting 45 minutes in the store and add the 20 minutes from when we placed the order, we still ended up waiting for over an hour. Staff has been rude every year at this location! Hopefully someone at Jersey Mike's reads this and fixes the problems (long wait times and unfriendly staff)!!! BTW, we order two Philly Cheese Steaks with double meat.and double cheese and both sandwiches were single meat,...

Wayyyyyy over priced for food I could get down the street for HALF the cost....plus they don't have Dr. Pepper, plus they screwed up my simple order......OVER PRICED ! Won't be back..........gave them a 2nd chance in January-19: order system sucks, order taker could barely hear me and hence ,they forgot to put onions on my sandwich.....no price changes......$14.00 for a 6" sandwhich-small fry-small drink (rip off).....when I brought the order screw up the the person that originally took the order. she replied with "my brain isn't working today".....too much carbonation in soft drinks, probably a way to export as littke product as possible while still charging astronomical prices.....(5) employees on duty doing the work which (3) employees could have handled (gotta pay that payroll, maybe one reason prices are so high).....entire start to finish system from ordering to recieving meal is sporadic and not orderly.....they screwed up other orders that I observed while sitting and...

First trip to the Big Bear store. Good sandwich, if I have 2 extra bucks and patience I will probably go back. Some constructive criticism: -Way too much mechanical noise in customer area. It would be quieter to eat out on the sidewalk off the blvd. Couldn't even have a conversation actress the table -With all that noise have the crew speak up so someone can hear them past the sneeze guard -Smile while using the meat cutter and pay attention to what your are doing instead of doing a Stevie Wonder impression. Not a good first impression Sandwich construction-keep it up 👍 Sandwich wrapper-you are not gift wrapping Venetian crystal. It's a sandwich wrap the thing so I can eat today, not tomorrow.
