NO SERVICE, NO CONCERN ABOUT ANYTHING....NO COME BACK TO SEE US........although the waitresses worked tables behind us, in front of us and around us.......they ignored us, we felt invisible, or that the people did not want to wait on us. An elderly couple sitting across from us were treated the same way. The elderly man asked for service 2 times....... The table person who cleans the tables......finally brought our drinks....... coffee and very sludgy ,mirky, tea....we waited another 20 minutes and had to tell the hostess/sitting person we needed a waitress.......food was cool.......the tea looked like used dishwater. When I complained to the waitress.......she said the regular tea was not filtered and so that is how it is to look.....supposedly they will work on that......sometime next week. $44 on what should have been a nice dining experience.....but a waste because of the Big Spring IHOP "we don't care attitude". The waitress asked if we would like to speak to the manager........but as frustrated as we felt, I declined because I felt if we had service this bad, the manager would not care anyhow. We have been to many restaurants everywhere.....and this is the worst we have found. I did not want to even give the one star I gave because of the "rude ,we do not care that you are here " attitude.....it made the meal...
Read moreMy husband and I went to IHOP in Big Spring this morning for breakfast. The wait wasn’t too long. We were told that they were short on servers so we may have a longer wait, ok, understandable. We got our drinks and the glasses were horribly spotted, asked the server for another glass and cleaner silverware, the server stated that’s how all of the glasses and silverware are. Ok, not a huge problem I guess. Ordered our food, a breakfast sampler and the Colorado omelette. Our food was cold and hard!! We complained to the server and she stated they were short staffed so the food wasn’t coming out as hot. Wait what?!?! Asked to speak to a manager-was told the manager wasn’t there yet. Asked for the ticket and the server stated she had to go find it. We waited at the table for 40 minutes waiting for her to return with our ticket. She never returned so we went to the front to pay, had to wait another 15 minutes before someone could locate our server for our ticket. The server had the nerve to ask us where we had been sitting. Excuse me ma’am, were you not our server??? We paid $44 for cold eggs, crumbly pancakes, hard bacon and dirty glassware and...
Read moreBeyond astonished by this IHOP location. When we first got here there were two waitresses the first one just stared at us didn’t even speak which is insanely rude, Sat us in the far back of the establishment, we waited about 10 minutes before we were asked for drinks, another 25 minutes before telling us the “paper” she put our order on was lost. We left and even though it doesn’t matter we will never come to this TA IHOP ever again if we’re passing through. First of all, how do you not immediately go put the order in after we placed it. I travel around the country for work and never received such blatant and nonchalant service like this. It’s giving sketchy with a bit of racist meaning only Caucasians and Hispanics are greeted with respect and welcomed. They need to do better respectfully.just got to the Popeyes and the subway that attached to it because this IHOP does not...
