Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Big Spring

Terrible customer service!! The staff is untrained and completely clueless with customers. The manger tells everyone in the restaurant they have no drinks yet they charge the same price for the meals regardless. Staff can’t spell a simple first name, they stare off into outer space when your talking to them. Food was burned up, one piece of chicken might as well been a field mouse burned to a crisp, just a sorry excuse for a chicken restaurant. Both this establishment and the Subway next door are supposed to be open until 10pm inside the truck stop yet when I walked in at 9:15pm my only choice was this Popeyes due to the fact that Subway employees thought it was a great idea to tear down the sandwich area and put everything away yet it was even 10pm, not even close.

Drivers work 24/7 and sadly we are at the mercy of these type of establishments and after driving hard all day for 11hrs it would be nice to grab a bite to eat yet these kids working in these places are too concerned with playing with their phones and leaving to go home. I don’t get to go home and if they have posted hours they need to follow those so that tired and hungry drivers have the opportunity to eat. We don’t have mobile kitchens in our trucks. Management needs to step it up and have some respect for the hard working customers coming into these places. Customer service was horrible... to start long line 10 plus no one waiting on customers then an employee would come up say something to first in line and that customer would leave and so on. So I finally get to front wait and 5 minutes and then I'm told no food for 30 or more minutes the had to many large chicken orders so I asked for spicy or blackn stripes said sorry we have large order let bbn me ask manager gone a few minutes and said sorry all food is for phone orders just as 40 plus spicy stripes were put out the guy boxing the food said that only 16 PC strip was for customer and the 40 plus mild chicken was for a call in... it just so happen that that customer was there and he said no I wanted spicy and I have been waiting for more then 45 mins the guy behind counter said sorry manager said no food to anyone we don't have the time ... the manager never came out to talk t ok any of the upset customers and the other 2 employees left the new fry cook by himself and were just talking in the back corner at least the subway employees took care of everyone ... just a sad day in understand its had sometimes to run a business I run 5 Ace Hardwares but when your manager is just to lazy to get out and help that is when your business goes under... there was enough chicken there not for customer to take care of the 20 plus...

If I could give negative stars I would give about 20 of them. This place should be shut down. Upon walking in the tables were dirty and trash was overflowing. I received a surf and turf when I ordered a 3 piece tender. I cannot stand shrimp so my entire meal was ruined by the fowl taste of them. The drink machines were out of soda so tea was all that was available to drink. The sugar canister sat on the counter with the spoon used to stir the tea laying on top of it. I watched a worker from Popeyes make the tea, he laid the spoon on the counter next to the garbage while dumping the sugar in and proceeded to stir the tea with the spoon. THEN laid it back on the counter next to the garbage. Keep in mine all there was available to drink was tea and it’s now been contaminated and isn’t fit to drink. State Food Inspection needs to pop in and shut this place down before someone gets sick from the...
