Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Big Spring

So before I get to negative, sorry DQ Big Springs, this is not gonna go well. Rember all in west Texas labor especially good labor is hard to come buy. Easily competing wages with all the folks working in the oil industry makes it hard for anyplace offering food to .survive.

Now with that the DQ taco crunchy... if you have not had one ... I'll stand agai st many may e any taco chain taco all day long, they are usually very very good.... I have had them all over Texas never failed to deliver..... until now,.... they were very very greasy here... my taco shell fellapart like they were trying to mimic taco bell ... but DQ does add meat to.theirs all... yes alllthe tables were dirty not wiped down or off,I think only 2-3 employees in the place about 13:30 like lunch run ended but they were sitting down eating themselves .... I guess at the two clean tables. TEA, westbTexas typical.... but for ice you always had to get the people behind the counter to add it then you could go to the fountain and fill your drink .... so that kinda sucked to. This DQ if /when it has people o would assumes pretty busy and could use some renovation ,its off of I-20 in the PB, itsnot going anywhere out of business soon...

Lastly, we tried to go in the night bwfore 1 hour prior to closing as we came to the door, a EE stopped us from coming in said the dinningroom was closed,but we could get I e cream at the drive through....reason given short handed.... so maybe maybe not ...... or just EE ""kids" wanting to calling a night.....I have seen this happen alot over the last two.years across the country.

It's DQ, you generally expect a certain standard ....this one did not meet it, this particular visit anyway ....." tomorrow" maybe A team was back on...

Poor attitude from the counterperson from the start. I waited about five minutes for her to come to the counter and take my order while she and the cook laughed about some instore drama that had apparently taken place prior to my arrival. There was no line and I understood why after getting my order placed. I stood there and watched as the cook and counterperson continued to laugh and giggle about their drama after ordering tacos. There was a taco box sitting under the warmer in the window when I arrived and placed my order. I watched as she took the old taco box down, pulled the toppings off the tacos and tossed them into the deep fryer. She then threw on new lettuce and cheese, forgetting the tomato, on the old tacos closed the box back, put a ticket on top and said "Order up" About five minutes later the guy at the drive thru gave me the box of old tacos. I thought maybe I was wrong, that I had not seen what I thought I had. After getting to my car with the order and opening the box I saw three Tacos, no sauce. I picked one up and there was so much grease from being tossed in that fryer with the meat still in the old soggy shell that the "crunchy" taco shell had pretty much lost all consistency and the ingredients of the taco just sort of slid over my fingers. It reminded me of hog slop. I tossed it back in the box and noticed that they also didn't give any napkins. Had to use my car shami to clean the guck from my hands. The food at this place is inedible due to the poor attitudes of the employees. I advise eating...

If there was an option to put no stars I so would! I came to this location tonight. I was asked to park and they would bring my food. I said okay, parked, and waited. My order was taken at 7:40. I noticed that they were handing other people their food. I was like okay well maybe they ordered something simple.. Fine. As I am waiting I notice ALL the staff are on their phones, not caring about doing their job! One employee came out with a big order and when they asked if this was mine I had told them no and the truck parked next to had just barely pulled up and they had their large order ready at this point it's already 8:05. I gave my receipt to one of the employees to check on my order. She took it inside and then I saw her leave. I sit there it's not 8:10 I finally called and one of the kids finally answered the phone (again I can see them from my car, they hear the phone ringing but can't even get off their phones to answer my call) FINALLY someone answered. I asked to speak to their manager and he responds "oh she is not here right now" I tell him all this 👆 again! He tells someone in the kitchen they need this order and I hear a female saying that she has been calling out this order so my food has been sitting there getting COLD while all these little kids are too busy on their phone. So not happy...
