Starbucks — Restaurant in Big Spring

Um... what? I went in and found the whole system halarious. To make it known: I am coming from Midland and I have no over expectations of west Texas service. It’s always terrible! However they have set a new bar. While I will say I found their barista friendly, their manager was there with her child and not able to take on my recommendation, as I would not have addressed her abysmal food ordering skills in front of her child. So I tried to order a ham and cheese croissant (a very popular item) they don’t have it. I tried to order a sausage and cheese English muffin (much less popular, according to the barista they don’t ever sell it there.) they didn’t have it. Tried to order a plain bagel with cream cheese, a coffee house staple! They didn’t have it. Tried to order a chicken and bacon panini, a reasonably popular item and they didn’t have that. I was done. All I wanted was some REAL food to eat. Normally I would have brushed it off as a truck order issue... but the guy literally directly behind me in line told me “They never have anything to eat... maybe pastries”... So this isn’t a truck issue, this is a manager ordering incompetence issue. I managed with yum brands for years, and I am willing to offer some order training if need be. But for the love of god, ORDER SOME FOOD! Hint: If you find yourself saying “we’re out of that”, more than 2 days a week, you need...

During my recent visit to Big Spring, I had the pleasure of frequenting the local Starbucks and it was a truly exceptional experience. The location itself is conveniently situated and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

The staff at this Starbucks were standout, from the friendly baristas who took my order to those diligently preparing the drinks. Their service was swift, professional, and they went out of their way to ensure all my preferences were catered to, which truly personalized the experience.

The coffee was, as always, of excellent quality. I ordered my usual Caramel Macchiato, and it was prepared perfectly – rich espresso, velvety steamed milk, and just the right amount of caramel sweetness. But the real surprise was the delicious pastry selection - fresh, flavorful, and a perfect companion to my coffee.

The cleanliness and maintenance of this Starbucks deserve a special mention as well. The tables, counters, and even the restroom were immaculate, making my visit even more comfortable and enjoyable.

I’m not one to ever write a review, but the employees at this Starbucks location really went above and beyond for me today. I was warmly greeted by two employees upon first entering the store. I asked them for drink recommendations and they provided great suggestions for my order. My drink was completed quickly and was absolutely delicious! The barista even asked me what size water I would like when I requested a cup of water!! I ventured outside to set up my laptop to get some work done using their wifi but was unable to get my laptop to turn on. Thinking there might be an issue with the outlets, I returned inside to ask for help. The woman who helped me (I believe she is the manager) was so incredibly kind and attentive! She reset the breaker for the patio outlets, she then walked with me outside to make sure they were working and stayed with me until the issue was fixed (it was my laptop!!). She also told me I would be welcome to stay as long as I needed to get my work done! I could not have asked for better service and am very grateful for all the help I received...
