If you like beer and a great setting, this place is for you. Dozens of great beers on tap and something for every taste, not just IPAs. Those behind the bar are amazing people and are happy to see you every time. The building itself has been either very well maintained or incredibly designed to have the feel of the original building. In Billings for a week for a conference and staying in downtown... This quickly became my favorite spot in town. The beer selection is great of course, which is why I came in the first place. I kept coming back because the team there was so fun and knowledgeable and just great to chat with. I learned about the city, the Montana beer scene (top notch), and even started to learn about their families. Wow. Pretty great for an out of towner. The atmosphere is cool as hell in an old train station, and the patio was great for those more temperate nights....

While being helped by the bartender a tall male, I presume he also works at Bar MT, came to tender our transaction while the original bartender poured our beers. I noticed that the guy who came behind the bar to take our money he had an obvious concealed firearm carry imprinted under shirt on his right hip. Other than the brief interaction we had with him at the cash register, he has been sitting at a table drinking a beer.
