Here's the thing...breakfast is the best part of the day. When we found McCormick we started going alot...weather we'd order ahead or eat in it did not really matter. The food was always amazing...done just right with their home cooked touch..menu to die for...was easy to read right up on the old chalkboard surrounded by the old historic building in the heart of downtown. Customer service was always cheery n neat n promt...they care about their quality. Today..a couple months later we decided to go again...very excited we arrived. Barely anyone there we were greeted by a blonde lady with glasses. She took our order and was very nice...she's been there awhile. I expect change anywhere but when I went to read the board as always it was totally rearranged and the letters were a little tough to get used to. Not sure why I even looked as I order the same thing almost every time but that was my first notice. We ordered milk as usual and both glasses were chunky so we traded for sodas that was the second notice..the third thing that happened next was a manager speaking very sassy to her employees in front of other staff and customers that did not make me happy..i understand off days but that was not nice maybe even a bit to bossy. Fourth we wanted for about 20 minutes or longer for 2 crepes a side of toast and a breakfast sandwich with bacon....i went very quietly to a sweet young blonde softspoken girl and asked her if we slipped through possibly as we have been there a bit and the manager spoke over the top of her with sass to me and said what the wait was about I felt a little jumped so I turned and walked back to my seat. I do not complain unless there is truly call for it in fact I have never sent food back before. About 10 minutes later the manager brought our food. 1 crepe short at number five in a row for the experience she said she would bring another as I declined I did not want to wait again. Number six is silly but a small detail I especially loved was my toast was always buttered....a great thing as sometimes it's a min before you put butter on at the table but the toast is cool making it hard to put butter on unless it's not frozen which almost was today. Could not apply frozen butter. Number seven the sandwich came out with sausage not bacon and when brought to her attention she laughed n said wow who took your order....not the best response in my mind as the lady taking our order had an unprofessional manager speaking down to her during the order taking so of it was her fault in her defense it may have been frustrating. I continued to eat as we waited for the sandwich to go and witnessed the manager speaking this way to everyone. In fact she handed us the second item without apologizing and continued on to over take her employee on the next issue at hand...another complaint. Everything was different...the food was different...and manager brought down the entire atmosphere...very disappointed. They get five stars because it's the best place in town for everything....i really hope this was an off day and she takes this in mind to be a great leader. The sweet blonde girl was very concerned and handled the situation with the best regards for her fellow employees and customers way to go you got great skills. I hope everyone tries this place it's truly the best. Will...
Read moreThis is my first time in years coming back to McCormicks. The young guy that took our order was tired but friendly. The gal with bright orange hair was super friendly and personable.
The place was cleaned but super tired looking inside could use a bit of freshening up.
I had the granola parfait it was a nice size with equal granola equal strawberries. My brother had Oxford French toast that was good with fruit which we wouldn’t get again. It was just canned fruit with some strawberries for 5.00.
Over all we were happy with our meal and will come back!
The All Star here was the lattes! My Oh My! They were large sizes, nice n piping HOT.
I had one of the BEST PSL EVER! It was so sad as I sipped the last few fleeing sips of the out of this world crazy good PSL.
My brother tried macadamia nut white chocolate mocha. It was perfect flavor perfect espresso tastes. He felt the same as I did with my latte.
It’s a cute enough hole in the wall places, I was happy to...
Read moreHave been here previously to get drinks, really cute place. First time eating here, and safe to say will be strictly sticking to their coffee on the sad chance I come here again.
Ordered Biscuits and Gravy, and the Breakfast Burrito. Food game out fast, but the B & G was lukewarm and lacking flavor. They did get the Eggs right at least. The Burrito was maybe 5 inches long, came with unmelted cheddar cheese on top. The Burrito also came out cold to the touch. Asked for it to be warmed and it came back nuked from the microwave, I would have had to wait 5 minutes to eat my now dried out Burrito. They have a massive flat iron stove top but still choose to use a Microwave. If knew my food would be microwaved I would have stayed home and eaten a Hungry Man frozen dinner meal.
This is the first time in my life I have ever left a restaurant with a full meals on our plate.
Being disappointed with my experience at McCormick's an...
