M.A.D. Pizza — Restaurant in Billings

This place is terrible! 2nd worst experience I have had at a restaurant in Billings. My friend and I came here on Friday night for dinner. The place was busy. The atmosphere is nice. We both ordered the wings to share. When the wings came out, you couldn't even tell they were wings by the shape of them. There was so much extra fried breading on them. The sauce for the wings was decent. We tried the creamy buffalo, which didn't taste much different than regular Buffalo sauce. The gochujang sauce was decent. As I went to take a bite of my wing, I noticed it was covered in feathers still. I get that it happens, but my friend and I weren't hungry after that, and we didn't end up eating the wings. We told our waitress what happened, and she said, "they are fried, so it won't kill ya." We both ordered 7 inch personal pizzas. Our pizza was burned and had an overwhelming taste of tomato. We were given one napkin each and never offered more. The waitress never came back to check on us after that, and I had to get up out of my seat and track her down for the bill. We came to Billings from Denver for a wedding and found M.A.D Pizza. We ordered medium MAD wings, garlic parm, Sriracha honey, and Teriyaki wings… they were all great!!! The med MAD creamy wings were some of the best wings we’ve ever had and they are the hottest medium I’ve ever had too, not to hot, just hot for a medium. We also had the Queen pizza and used a side of super hot sauce with blue cheese dressing, outstanding! Over all this was a cool place in a cool part of Billings Downtown. The local beers were a great addition to the meal. Don’t skimp on the sauces!!! And take a pic with the pizza wings! Ask for server Charlie she’s great too! We were a party of five with drinks and food and I thought it was a great value.

Overall, wont go back or recommend. The food was okay, not outstanding, the crust was flavorless and didnt hold up the toppings. But mainly our server was terrible. In over 2 hours, she took over 30mins after getting our drinks to come back and take a food order, she never checked on us after recieving our food and another server had to bring us plates, silverware and waters. We could see from the table she was either hanging around outside or standing behind the bar on her phone. We had to ask the busser to bring us boxes and the other server to bring us our checks and run them. She seemed to so almost nothing and we were only one of maybe 5...
