A great center to go to among other amazing historical locations in Billings. Fun fact is that the Heffner Stone Quarry, which once was located where the college is now on 27th Street, was the place that provided the sand stone for that building. Read moreWe spent about two hours here looking at all of the exhibits. They have a room that tells about the history of medical care on the reservations - a problem still today. But my favorite part was downstairs reading/watching a dvd capturing some native americans sharing their stories first-hand. It was some 1950s dresses, art by one specific artist, and an exhibit of Vietnam vets' recollections. A small corner wall featured disjointed quotes from Native Americans with no context.
