out of the three times Iâve been to this establishment, each time iâm left quite disappointed. my first experience at this McDonaldâs I was picking up my partner from their shift at the hospital, looking for a quick meal. when we got in there, we noticed a commotion out in the parking lot. We looked outside to see a fight going on. Obviously this is not McDonaldâs fault however, the way they dealt with it was severely unprofessional. The manager was out there with another employee, recording the fight and screaming at them while also grabbing at them. As a manager of a popular chain, you should know to not get Physically involved. The second time Iâve went to this establishment, I only had cash on me, which should not be a Huge deal. I ordered at the kiosk and received my receipt to pay up at the front. Whilst waiting i was told by an employee, âYou can pay at the kiosk.â So, i kindly explained that i just needed to pay for my order. After around 10 minutes of waiting an employee grumbled as they came up to me to pay for my order, glaring the whole time. The most recent and may final time I visited, we had placed our orders on the kiosk, learning our lesson from the previous time. even after our orders were paid for and placed. We still waited a good 20 minutes for our order. we were waiting we could hear employees fighting in the back, giving snarky comments, etc. The woman at the register would yell to her coworkers at the back of the house from the register. it was quite loud and unprofessional to be honest. One of the DoorDashers there waited around five minutes just to get confirmation from the employees that there was barbecue sauce in the bag. the other DoorDasher that we did speak to, had been waiting for confirmation from one of the staff for her drink out a DoorDash order. after getting frustrated waiting, she ended up grabbing her own drink and maybe a minute or so later there it was on the counter. summary, the staff and management at this establishment are completely unprofessional and out of line, the weights are ridiculous for a non-crowded restaurant, and the food coming out cold is...
Read moreI never thought Iâd see the Taco Bell down the street improve before this McDonaldâs, but thatâs exactly whatâs happened. This location has consistently been one of the worst for DoorDash pickups. Wait times are almost always 10 to 30 minutes, sometimes longer, regardless of the time of day.
Thereâs occasionally a manager who seems to care and helps things move a little smoother, but even thatâs inconsistent. Most of the time, staff show zero urgency. Dashers are left standing around while the orders arenât even started, let alone bagged and ready.
Hereâs the part that makes it worse: McDonaldâs can adjust their prep time in the system if theyâre regularly running late, but they donât. That means we continue to waste our time, go unpaid for that wait, and risk late deliveries which hurt our on-time ratings. For Dashers, it directly cuts into how much we can earn.
And believe it or not, other stores actually have orders ready when we walk in, making it easy to grab and go. Thatâs especially helpful when we have multiple pickups on the same trip. But when one of those pickups is from this McDonaldâs, it throws everything off. We end up stuck here while the other customerâs food just sits in the car, getting cold. So DoorDash customers, if your food ever shows up cold, this kind of store setup is likely one of the reasons why.
At this point, I honestly donât even want to get out of my car when I arrive here. I usually wait 10â15 minutes just to unassign the order without it hurting my metrics. I might peek in to check the shelf, but Iâve learned not to expect anything to be ready.
And itâs not just this location. The McDonaldâs in the Heights is the same story. I havenât tried the West End one yet, but based on the trend, Iâm not expecting much. There seems to be a serious issue with general management across the board.
Side note for customers and management: All Dashers feel these stresses, even if not everyone puts...
Read moreOn 12-26-20 I was double charged for a gift card and some food. On 12-28-20 I contacted them and they found that it was true. They said it would take a week to get it refunded. It is now 1-13-21 and I still have not received my refund. I have called many times and all I get is I'm sorry. We will check in to it. The over charge was just over 28 bucks so thank goodness it was not a lot but this is so frustrating. I would suggest buyer beware and check your recipe but if the never do anything about it what's the use? They definitely could care less about your business. Update 1-20-21. I finally received the amount they double charged my debit card. Yes. 24 days later! I also received this letter. I'm not blaming the employees for this mistake as with the volume of business they do things are going to happen. What is frustrating is how the upper management and supervisors handle this situation i.e taking 24 days to get the double charged...
