After reading the reviews and realizing several of the negative ones were old, and that's it's come under new management since then - I decided to give this place a shot. It's just too conveniently located to me not to give it a try. I ordered the Combination Singapore Noodles and Crab Rangoons over the phone to go. Placing the order was easy and I was told it would be about 10 minutes. When I got there, my food was ready, I paid (they do a military discount) and I headed home. The food was fresh and hot! The crab rangoons were fried nicely and stuffed really well. The Singapore Noodles had a ton of chicken, shrimp and beef - they definitely didn't skimp on the protein. It also had an excellent level of spice and wasn't greasy like some places. I've only tried these two dishes, but they were good enough to make me willing to order from here again.

Went to this restaurant despite bad reviews from friends. Decided to try it out. DO NOT GO. THEY WERE CORRECT. 1) Waitress seemed upset and short with us. 2) Sweet and Sour chicken was watered down ketchup...had no substance. 3) Sweet and Sour chicken was watery like it was frozen and came out of a pouch and was thrown in a microwave. 4) Orange chicken was literally barbecue sauce with... pineapple... what?! It had no hint of orange in the entire dish. 5) The white rice tasted like it had been sitting in the rice cooker all day with burnt parts. 6) General Tso's chicken did not taste right and had zero spice to it. 7) Pad Thai was bland and had no flavor profile whatsoever. There are many other Chinese restaurants in Biloxi...I HIGHLY do NOT recommend this one.

I was a little skeptical ordering at first because I saw mixed reviews online but I was pretty satisfied. I ordered the shrimp Pho with the pork and shrimp eggrolls and it was really good. I let my nephew try the pho and it was his first time and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The eggrolls were my favorite and the dipping sauce it comes with was even better. The pho was pretty average nothing spectacular but still good. I'd order from here again.

I work in the area so I gave it a whirl. A good whirl. After my 5th time eating there, I vowed I'd never do it again. The service is poor and I'd rate it a 1/5. They're not very friendly and seem to hate their jobs when you go in to pick up food. It's as if your presence is "inconveniencing them." They obviously don't get that without customers, they're out of the job. Either that, or they're just lazy. You have to ask every time for a fork and napkins... sometimes they're feeling generous and put it in the bag for you, sometimes they're feeling lazy and tell you to get it yourself. Sorry, but am I expected to eat this sesame chicken with my hands? Which brings me to the food. I'd rate it a 3/5 at best. Rice is dry. Chicken tastes like it has feathers or fingernails in it and leaves you with some gross heartburn. The one thing I did like about the chicken is it's very Americanized... the farthest from authentic I've had in any Chinese restaurant... which was kind of to my taste. The way they box their food is terrible though. They're not "on the go" friendly at all. You get chicken loaded into a box, and then a small to-go box with your rice so if you wish to combine the two and you don't have a plate readily available, be prepared to make a mess. They portions are generous for the price though. 2 out of 5 stars is a generous rating I say. Put some care into your business, and try a little harder not to despise your customers. I'm always smiling, friendly, and I tip a dollar plus change which is hardly a small tip for someone to throw your food in a bag and ask if you want sauce.

Also, their open sign is usually off and the place always looks closed 2+ hours prior to the actual closing time, as if they're trying to drive people away. This place reeks of laziness and bitterness. I've been a cook for 8 years. Get a grip.

Quick reply to the guy below that said it was too expensive though: $10 for a pound of chicken and a half pound of rice is not expensive. Either a cheapskate or has never worked in the restaurant industry. The portions are extremely generous...

I have made two orders in the past two days from a neighborhood inside Keesler AFB (Late evening meals). In both cases my food arrived in a timely manner, 45 minutes as estimated for me . The food was still very hot, and also delicious. So far I've only ordered the beef fried rice and Bourbon chicken (I usually use these items to gauge the skill of a Chinese restaurant, since they're fairly simple), and both have been exceptional among the many other Chinese takeouts I've had in other states. The portions are decent, amounts you'd normally encounter from Chinese takeout, and they've provided me with soy sauce and utensils every time so far. The female on the phone was polite and easy to communicate with, and the delivery boy was very capable in delivering on time. After eating at a few other Chinese restaurants, the Bamboo Chinese restaurant especially, I'd have to score this a 3 and would only recommend it if you want something delivered near or on the Air Force base. I may order more things from them in the future and may edit this review...

I am visiting from California. My son was just transferred to Kessler. We wanted an inexpensive but fast meal and decided to eat at China Garden based on recommendation of a young lady at a nail salon. I'm glad we gave it a try despite the negative feedback I read about the restaurant. The facility was very clean and service was great. I had Kung Pao chicken and my son had General Tso. Both were freshly prepared quality dishes with good flavor. My son opted for fried rice which had a good amount of plump shrimp. I was surprised because in other restaurants the shrimp is always tiny and only 2-3 in a serving. I am not usually a fan of Chinese because I am sensitive to high fat foods. I had no problems with this meal. Don't believe the negative reviews! I am not easy to please when it comes to the taste of food eating out and I have no problem recommending China Garden. It was much better than the pricey seafood lunch we had that...
