Update 4/2/24 Understaffed again. The kitchen is impossibly slow. Avoid. Update 7/31/23 This location has gotten much speedier and behaving as I'd expect almost. Save your time and money. Go to Taco Bell or Waffle House. I don't know how this location is still open.
You can get faster service at Waffle House which is right next door. In fact, I have sat down for a full meal several times at Waffle House and finished in less than my average time in the McDonald's Drive thru.
Drive through times keep getting slower and slower. The other night around 8pm, 5 other cars and I sat 20 minutes with no movement. Once finally ordering It took another 10+ minutes to get my food. Clearly this location has lost the purpose of their business, fast food, which it clearly is not any longer.
I've been told by the worker at the first window (order and payment taker) that they were letting the team "catch up" before they took my order. This is not an isolated incident, this is every single time in order to try to get their time from order to food delivery numbers down - which they don't.
All the fast food locations in this area are very slow, but this specific location takes the cake. Cars constantly get out of line and move on their way. Corporate should investigate.
I am sympathetic to the lack of enthusiasm in your job when you're getting paid very low. Minimum wage in this state is embarrassingly low and should probably be around $22/hr on a national level and in every state. Read moreWhen we arrived around 10:15 pm, we didn't know what we wanted, so we chose to order online and do a curbside pickup. A little while after we placed the order, the message on the phone switched from saying our food was being prepared to telling us to enjoy our food, suggesting the food would be out shortly. We waited for a while, very patiently because we knew the drive thru line was busy. After waiting over 20 minutes, I went inside. When someone finally came to the counter, I politely told him I was waiting on a curbside order. I was annoyed at the inconvenience of having to wait and then go inside, but things happen, not the end of the world. He responded that our food was right beside him but they aren't allowed to deliver curbside orders after 10:00!!!! So basically my food was going to just sit there until I got tired of waiting! There was nothing on the app to stop me from ordering curbside and no notice on the signs that they didn't do curbside after a certain time. They just let me sit there. Of course, by the time I start eating, the food is cold because it had been sitting on the counter for so long, and it wasn't even prepared as ordered. I'm not sure if that is actually the policy, although I'm doubtful since there was someone pulled into the drive thru overflow spots. Most likely, no one wanted to walk outside because they were busy and understaffed. Read moreI want to start by saying that They need to pay attention on how crew and managers treat the customers at this location. They need to pass through customers services training to know how to deal with CUSTOMERS. Today I order a QPD combo and Ice caramel Machiatto and literally had to wait 40 mint. I went to the restaurant to speak with the manager and none was available to help me Out with my order till 10 minutes of waiting a manager said that I have to go in line since it was a Drive thru order. I went back in line and when I stop to the window they said order wasn’t ready again. I told them Is not to speak with the manager and they were taking pictures of my car and videos of it when I requested to speak with the manager again. I decided to leave because they were incompetent and violating federal law by taking pictures and videos of me while requesting the managers help about my order. I didn’t want to go inside again because I knew they will take longer just as they did earlier. I took part of my break to call and speak with a manager regarding this issue. I called 3 times just to reach a manager and make a complaint about the order and the behavior of their crew members. The 3 times I called the 3 times different crew member hanged the phone over me. This placed have the worst and nasty service ever.
