Beijing Express — Restaurant in Birch Run Township

We called for a carry out order as we were in the area & had read some great reviews online. So happy we took the great advise of those reviews. We shared the chicken chop suey combo (two people) which came with a drink, chicken fried rice, & an egg roll which we substituted in for a spring roll. We ordered a side order (2) spring rolls in addition. There was PLENTY of food for both of us, it was hot-temperature wise, and so tasty. We sat outside at one of the tables & shared our lunch & very much agreed that we were happy we decided to eat here as well as many times said we'd recommend this restaurant to many people we know. Only draw back if it can be called that is that the restaurant isn't open for dining in. That really isn't a deterrent to whether or not we'd order meals from here again. Prices aren't too bad & for the amount of food we were given there was PLENTY for 2 people to share & there was still left over. Keep up the good work! They got some solid food here! Had the pepper steak and pad tai. Spring rolls with dipping sauce was very nice as well. Not a huge fan of their egg drop soup as I am not a fan of the “eggy” variety but figured I’d try it based on the picture. Prob will not be getting that again. Also had the pho ( my boys favorite) which is one of their go to favorites as well. Great potions and will not be hungry after this meal. They could flavor the fried rice a little more with some either soy or chicken flavor but that is not a deal breaker by any means. Will continue to get their great food! Revised 9/13/21 Way too saucy! Went off the picture of their Mongolian beef and wow opened up a sad to go container…. My meat and veggies were drowning in sauce! Veggies were over cooked and nothing had those nice seared wok look to it and all I tasted was sauce. Disappointed this round. Pho was still a hit as usual. I have only done drive-thru but have been going to them since I tried it. I usually get either the Veggie Delux, veggie or shrimp stir fry while daughter’s family get orange or General Tao meal. I get the crab cheese and have tried the egg rolls on and off the last 5 yrs and have only enjoyed it last month. I’m picky on my egg rolls. I like to taste the veggies and not just meat or grease. Actually while in Michigan, the only place that had delicious egg rolls was the Chinese Restaurant in the Bridgeport Plaza. I was totally sad when they closed as they had the best Chinese in Saginaw & Flint County that I tried. My mom & dad like the beef dishes. I also like the chicken Broccoli. The prices are reasonable for a family and have honestly never had bad food from there. I have tried all the Chinese around Saginaw County & the Clio and Montrose.
