I have shopped at this location for years, and I have made many purchases. This evening I had yet another bad customer service experience, which is truly the only problem I have had at this location. I spotted a female employee and I had a question about the sale on bedding. She ignored my first two attempts to get her attention ("Hello", then "Excuse me"). She answered my question, somewhat rudely, then I moved on. They have new signs posted in the bedding area asking customers not to open the packages. As I was looking through the bedding items, I found a duvet cover that was not in a package and did not have a tag. It was between the tops shelf and the next one down, about shoulder level. I took the duvet cover out to look at it by laying it out about 2/3 of the way across a flat surface nearby. I then began folding it back up neatly to put it back. About 1/2 way through folding, the same female employee (yes, with a bad fake tan and a excessive pancake makeup) walked up to me and asked, with a clear accusatory tone, "Are you purchasing that?" I replied, "No, I found it loose on the shelf over there, and now I am folding it neatly to put it back. It has no package or tag." She looked at me with narrowed eyes, then went to the shelf where I pointed to verify that I was telling the truth. I put the duvet cover back where I found it and promptly left the store. I hope that the management at this location reads these reviews and can perhaps determine which employee this might have been, as I didn't see her name tag. She is the reason I decided not to make a purchase in the store tonight. She was rude and condescending in her demeanor and her words, and her tone and approach were accusatory. I can save money a lot of places, so there is no need for me to return...
Read moreWe've bought several rugs and kitchen items over the years that were good deals. Recently we bought a very pretty 12x9 wool area rug for a room that we were renovating. The rug was rolled up, but we could easily turn back the core we to see the color/pattern and we were told final sale. We unrolled it weeks later and surprised when the edges of the rug looked dusty but figured it had been sitting in a warehouse. Upon vacuuming, we found that the rug was beyond dirty. The residue it created in my vacuum has to be scraped and scrubbed off. Since it was final sale, I called to ask how a rug could be sold in this condition? The manager explained that it could have been a customer return and that it would not have been disclosed on the tag. Please take the time to inspect any rug purchase fully rolled out while in the store. I wish we had as this rug was returned in horrible condition. The manager was very nice and...
Read moreThe prices here are not always better than the retail store and or online. I saw some pillow covers that were $20 each, and the exact same ones were $15 for free shipping online. Factory stores actually make money on customers who are not well informed. They do have a great selection on rugs and mis match furniture pieces. The bedding is nice, but you can do better on the sales online. Do your research before you go. You may get a deal, or they may get a deal from you. Just know what your in the market to buy, and buy just that and walk out. Their lamps are the same price as online as well. Kind of a waste of my time to have even gone. I...
