Culver’s — Restaurant in Birch Run Township

Outstanding customer service at this location! I visit this location several times a year on travels up to northern Michigan along I-75. A group of friends and I stopped here along the way to a new years eve trip in northern Michigan. Two of us ordered our food, and then our last friend ordered her food. The two of us got our food fairly quickly. The last food order came out about 10 minutes after the first two orders did. We didn't really think anything of it, since the drive thru line was at least 15 cars long, so we knew they were busy. The Shift Leader, Ashlee, was the staff member who actually brought the food to us, and she promptly apologized for the delay in us getting our last order. She offered us a coupon for either a free value basket or free concrete mixer upon our next visit for the delay. She then mentioned that she had already spoken to staff about this, to ensure it didn't happen again to another group, and all food would come out together. Not only did she go above and beyond to offer us a free voucher, but she also used this a teachable moment for her staff. Will definitely be continuing to visit this...

This is the second time we have gotten poor service at this location. Both time we ordered pot roast dinners. Both times they have been very disappointing. Mashed potatoes wear 1/4 full and had chicken gravey on them. There was a lot of bread and a ridiculusly small portion of roast beef. The vegetables that come with the meal were not included. We live 45 minutes from the store and my wife waited over 30 minutes after she ordered to get our food. We called and complained....again and the "manager", who would not give her name offered to reace our food if we drove back to the store tonight. We explained that, that would not happen so she offered to send us coupons for a free meal. She told us if we needed to contact someone else regarding this issue then we should call the owner " his name is on the receipt." We don't mind paying a bit more to eat at restaurants but the service sucks and the quality is just not there. The pandemic is no longer a good excuse. I don't need to spend my money at...

Culver's is a bit of a step up in fast food restraunts. They serve better quality food than the main chains. They still serve salads and grilled chicken. The cod dinner is very good for a fast food chain. They also have chili year round and usually a soup or two. Many locations have a pot roast sandwich, I have not tried it but is different. The cheese curds are pretty good. During a certain time of the year, they have a curd burger where it has a beef patty plus a big cheese curd patty. The custard is very good with many varities of toppings. Including a flavor of the day option. Kids meals have options of burger, chicken fenders, grilled cheese and corn dog. They also include option for a child size custard. They food is almost always hot and fresh. They cook items to order and that means there is a little wait.
