My kids each had a voucher for a free kids meal for getting A Honor Roll; I have 4 kids. First the manager, Marcus Bell, said "It says you can't use them all in one day." Then, I read the fine print and it ACTUALLY said, “1per child." Then, he said, " Oh well, you have to eat here you can't take it to-go." It did say that; I explained that I had to go to class and could we please take it to-go. I go to class 5:30p-9:30p and it was about 4p, so I was using these as a quick meal for them before I left the house. He said, "No." The whole interaction was much longer and had more back and forth, but that's the jist of it. I told him," It's not like I stole these or that they're fake coupons. They earned these for getting honor roll!" I was pissed, because my kids were disappointed, so we walked out. By the time we got in my truck a female server ran out and said, "Ma'am! My bar customer wants to buy food for your kids!" I said," It's not like I can't feed my children! THEY EARNED THESE FOR GETTING A HONOR ROLL! I'm not coming back in there. Tell your customer I said thank you anyway though."
Two days later, I told the kids we would try again. I called ahead and spoke to the manager Marcus Bell. I said," I'm the lady who came in with her kids two days ago with the free kids meal vouchers. Can my kids get their meals today?" He said, " Yeah. Yeah bring them on. Just come on, okay", but in a condescending, annoyed tone like he was doing me a favor. If he said no I was gonna call corporate and try my best to get him fired. I hate terrible customer service and people just trying not to do their job for whatever reason. The kids and I went in that day. They got their meals, but still tried to charge me $2.00 for each of their meals, and tried to make me believe that that was a part of the voucher! They sent a server to tell me. I was like "No. I need to speak to the manager." I had the money to pay, but I'm all about principles, soooooooo.......Marcus Bell was there, but he sent another guy to handle me. They were lying about the two bucks. I told them,"I'm not dumb. I can read, and I'm not paying this." The other guy took it off, but he still tried to convince me I was supposed to pay for these Free kids meals! Like they just couldn't be wrong! The voucher didn't even say" with purchase of" for anything; they were just free.

Someone from the health department needs to visit this place or whoever owns it needs to visit this place and see how they move in this establishment totally embarrassing it's not a place I would ever visit againI would have to venture out to other ones that are not in the area where my friend recommended that we go. The carpet is so bad you can't even tell it has any color to it it looks like it belongs in a garage where they work on cars that's how black it is but you know that's not how it's supposed to look. IMAGINE HOW THE BATHROOMS LOOK I NEVER WENT... Read moreWhat can I say about this horrible restuarant. On 11/3 I went to Applebees for a nice date. There were so many problems I don't know where to start:
*The restuarant had styrofoam plates, napkins, etc. everywhere. The establishment does not care about cleaning as they go. *The waitress was either inebriated, under the influence of an illegal substance, or just didn't care about customer service. *The same waitress got my date's order wrong due to the fact she didn't write the order down, but she tried to memorize it. *The manager seems to not worry about the small details. When she came from I'm assuming her office, it was to only assist an employee. Then she proceeded to ONLY speak to customers that she knew personally. The manager did not address the mess on the floor or the complacency amongst the staff. *They were out of the $1 special drink. I would think that the drink is advertised to bring customers into the restaurant? How do you run out? *2 for $25 menu was also pointless. Thdy ran out of ribs and the waiter even stated that every Sunday they run out by 6PM. Shouldn't the manager be prepared for that as well? In my opinion the waiters dont know conflict resolution because I was not made aware there werent any ribs and so I picked the 8 oz steak from the 2 for $30 listing. I would have thought that I would at least be compensated for not being able to have ribs, but no.
