Captain D's — Restaurant in Birmingham

Terrible! Awful! What a disgrace this place is! It's a bunch of blacks working this place and they don't give a damn about anyone! They are slower than Christmas coming arounda and they get in no hurry. It's been like this for years now! The other night we waited in line for 30 minutes and when we got up to the speaker to order they shut everything down well before 10 pm. No one even bothered coming across the speaker to let us know what was going on or to give us any type of information that they were closed. We then pulled up to the window where the person in front of us was getting served food and when we got up to the main window a black girl gives us an attitude like we had done something wrong. We explained to her what happened and she said she can't take our order regardless because the drawer had already been pulled. These clowns closed everything up before 10pm. We wasted 30 minutes of our valuable time to get no food and get an attitude and be disrespected! Even one of the employees looked out the window several times at us and saw we were waiting in line but they still disregarded it. I'm going to do my very best to get this place shut down or the manager fired for good! Stay away! You have...

Just awful!!!! I ordered my food online, went it and stood there several minutes without a greeting, or any type of acknowledge. The cook in the back prompted the little girl that was working at the front counter that someone was up front. Three mins later she came around the corner, got some bags and went back to the back where he was to bag orders for drive thur. By this time another couple was in line behind me; They were dining in and gotten up to check on their food. She finally plated their order, and continued to help with drive thur. I asked for a manager. The manager came out and stated she had just gotten there, she apologized, and fixed my order expeditiously. The family meal of fish and the catfish dinner were both a little on the hard side but everything else was good. As I was leaving the young lady that had been waiting on her order before I got there became outraged because she had been waiting 23 mins and still had not received her food. The manager had to get onto the little girl working the front counter for playing too much and not greeting the door or even just being up front to take orders. The front counter space wasn't tidy and overall just another bad experience...

I went to this particular Captain D's to grab a quick bite before going to the movies. I paid $16 for two grilled fish dinners. Well my fish wasn't done and they only gave me very little rice. When I asked for a Lil more rice she we to the back and I heard her say she's being nice.... OK.. then when I saw that my fish was under cooked I took it to her and she looked at it as if I was lying. By this time I was ready to just get my money back.so I did just that. Then it took her 10 minutes to give me a refund and she was the manager. Several other conversations were over heard by my party that should not have been heard. But I'ma let that be. When she gave me my money back she had the audacity to change me for The other dinner which was Cold by this time. When I tell you I would NEVER eat at this place again.
