Captain D's — Restaurant in Birmingham

This has to be one of the worst Captain D's restaurant's there is! As a matter of fact, even the Vestavia Hills & Pelham location offer even better service than this one! Case in point, I had went there earlier through the drive-thru only to have to wait, while in line. Came time to get waited on, I was both greeted & asked, "Did I need any kind of sauce?" I replied, "That I did." To my dismay, not only did she not apologize for the long wait (a female who's the medium skin tone with dreads named Zatorria), she handed me my food, I thanked her & she said, "You're welcome". When she said it, she made it seemed like she was pissed off at me all of a sudden because she said it in a mean, dry tone of voice! And this is exactly why I hate this Captain D's because pretty much every time that I frequent here I stay having this...

My fish hush puppies and broccoli were hot even though the broccoli had no flavor. The french fries weren’t quite fresh even though the store had just opened up. They were out of coleslaw so I had to get the broccoli instead not my favorite. The service was good. They were in a good mood for having to deal with a leak and they were having to clean up a mess when I first walked in, but they got my order together in a timely fashion is the store isn’t just disrepair and needs of a major makeover, I wish that they would bring back the pumps for the condiment sauces and also the original way that they used to cook the fish 20 something years ago. I went to this location on 5/28/23@4:54pm to get food when I got to the front window I had a 50.0 I was informed by the cashier Tania that she couldn’t take my money because they just changed shifts and could give me change she stated they didn’t have enough money to break it which sounds fishy my food was 9.67 so you telling me you didn’t have 40.00 in chance to give back I wasn’t sure if I had enough on my card but I did thank God I would like to know what are your practices regarding this I’m highly upset I mean what if I didn’t have enough money on my card and the cashier was rude saying well ma’am it’s not my fault etc but she said it ugly I really think this ridiculous at almost 5m the store...
