The employees desperately need training on how to bag an order. I love the biscuits and gravy, but every time I order it, it's put in a bag, and handed to me with the container leaning over crooked in the bag, and the gravy pouring out all in the bag. It's an absolute mess and makes it very difficult to enjoy the meal. Gravy gets all over the outside of the container, all over the napkins, and any other items in the bag.
I went through the drive-thru a couple of days ago and ordered a double gravy biscuit meal. As the lady at the window brought it to me, she was holding the bag crooked and I could see the container leaning over. She handed me the bag, and I immediately turned to show her the large amount of gravy that had already puddled in the bag. When she realized I was unhappy with it, she took the bag back, walked over to where they keep the bags, took my messy container out of my bag and simply moved it to a new bag. It was not wiped down, it was not replenished to replace the gravy that had poured out, and she just handed it back to me, just as crooked in the second bag, as it was in the first. This same situation has happened far too many times.
Jack's needs to come up with a better solution for serving items with liquid, like putting the gravy in a separate bowl with a lid, allowing the customer to pour the own gravy on the biscuits themselves.
In the meantime, please teach your staff how to pack a square, styrofoam container full of gravy, into a bag, keeping that bag straight, keeping the gravy in the container, until handed to the...

I asked the window person (Miss lack of personality, herself) if you had "orange shakes". Response was we have "slushes". No I asked for a shake. She responded yes, then brought me a cup of orange sherbert, NOT a shake. Strike 2, but I let it slide. I had 3 hungry people waiting at home. Order was two (2) patty melts, (I was excited...I LOVE PATTY MELTS), two (2) large fries (we were going to share, four (4) chicken thighs (2 for each person) and two (2) side slaws. NOW FOR THE PROBLEMS.....The patty melts were obviously left from lunch, the toasted bread was extremely SOGGY, AND there was something on them that was SPICY. I saw the commercial. It stated #kicked up" NOT "SPICED UP" This was strike 3!(NOTHING in your description states spicy), so mine went into the garbage. Way too SPICY for me. NEXT: the fries were NOT hot, NOT even warm. They got heated in the toaster oven at home. I was told at home, the chicken was good. (That's a plus, cause I like Jack's chicken more than anywhere else) However, I wasn't eating chicken. AND then last, but not least....one (1) biscuit for two people!!!! REALLY???!!! STRIKE 4!!!!! My total bill was $28.19 and part of the food went in the garbage and part had to be heated at home. SO EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! I've been going to Jack's since I was 16-17 yrs old. I might have to wait a long time until I go back. This was so...
Read moreWe actually arrived after the lobby should have been closed and the doors locked, but the side door which they require you to use after dark at this location had been either unlocked by a local homeless young man that frequents all the local businesses that will allow him to get a chance to sit inside out of the heat or cold. Either way we were able to gain access to the lobby, which after all the changes due to the pandemic, was exciting. I always seem to wind up too late to get anything to eat from any of the fast food joints close by. For one, I am not permitted to drive due to epilepsy, so I am not able to hit up the drive thru if I can't gain access to the lobby. The manager was obviously confused as to how we got in at first, but did not have a foul attitude or even show any side of irritation towards us or the employees responsible for leaving the lobby unlocked. She was very receiving and took our order even though she did not technically have to. She even made sure we got any extra condiments we might have needed, after finding out that we are live in employees at a local hotel that doesn't have the best reputation. She was very courteous and definitely deserves the position she has earned. I hope she gets a raise soon, because she is one of the very, very few fast food managers that didn't have a horrible attitude and tell us the lobby was closed and to leave. Great job ma'am, you are awesome..this happened on August 31, 2021 around...
