Wendy's — Restaurant in Birmingham

Only because the food was to be fresh because of the wait do you get a 2. I understand that this location gets busy and is slow. I decided to order on the Wendy’s app. They had options to carry out, delivery, or drive-through so I selected carry out. So I can walk in get my food and leave and wouldn’t have to wait in the drive-through line. I arrive to get my food; the drive-through line is long like always so I get out to walk to the door another customer says that the door is locked. So I called them to ask if my order was ready because I selected for me to carry it out he tells me I have to get in the drive-through line regardless if I ordered it on the app or not. As I’m still talking to him..He(the manager) says we only have 3 people and he hangs up in my face. So I called back to say I apologize that you only have three people working but I was not done talking to you before you hung up. So I still can’t get my food even though I pre-ordered it? OK well let me get my money back cancel my order and put my money back on my card. They brought me cash as a refund. I keep trying to give this Wendy’s is a chance. This is the last time. If you have an hour and a half of your life to spare and desire a 50 percent chance of getting cold food then please visit this Wendy’s in Centerpoint. It doesn’t matter if there’s only one or two other cars in line, you WILL wait that 30-40 mins for your food. And don’t let it be after 8pm because that time WILL be doubled. And half of the time your food will be cold. Waited in line for a doordash order for an hour and a half. Unacceptable. Besides that, I waited 45 minutes another time for my order and there were only 2 cars ahead of me. Got my food and bit into it and it was cold. I literally felt myself getting sick as I chewed that burger that was mostly likely just sitting on the counter. The lobby also will not be open to make the process faster. Please do not go to this location. The wait is long for no reason as I saw the workers joking and laughing and standing around when I finally got to the window. Let me start by saying this is the worst review ever this Wendy's I sent in the Drive-Thru for 35 minutes once I got to the ordering station I stayed there another 10 minutes I gave my order a cheeseburger ketchup only Caesar salad and bacon fries I got you the one do the window was open smoke coming out of the window I paid for my order and waited 10 minutes another way to stick my order by the window isn't there another 5 minutes or the girl at the window singing and playing my window is down smoke is getting all of my car from inside the restaurant I got my order are all their food they gave me 1 napkin corporate hold them the only give out one napkin didn't have any salad dressing any kind food was cold!
