I just left this Wendy's on Valley Avenue, and I went in because the drive thru was pretty long. Get inside, the line is long; I'm the 5th person in line. After still standing in 5th place for about 10-15minutes. The first person(lady) in line politely and calmly inquired about how much longer it would be, and that she had been there for 20 minutes so far. The response from the cashier was less than professional and less than respectful. The first lady in line then calmly requested a refund. The cashier told the manager, and the manager said no.
The first lady in line kept her composure and a couple other ladies spoke up for her.
It got wild. I thought the manager was going to jump on the second lady in line. It was that bad.
The manager and the cashier were going off SHOUTING/YELLING at the customers particularly the first 2 ladies in line . The manager was cussing. The manager left and came right back and said she called the OWNER and said the owner told her she could give a refund.
(Why was it an issue to get a refund when you haven't recieved food after 30minutes of waiting? I Dont Know)
The manager kept talking loudly, angrily and disrespectfully. She was focused on the 1st lady in line, yelling at her.
30 minutes in, still no one in line or waiting has food.
While at the register, about to start the refund, the manager said, " They need to take their lazy axx home and cook." And that's when I stepped out of line and went and got in my truck and left.
DO NOT PATRONIZE HERE. They did all that in front of and to customers. There also was 2 elderly ladies present sitting down and I can only imagine how they must have felt listening to all that.
The manager and cashier seem dangerous and shouldn't be handling your food. THEY "DONT GIVE AF" according to the cashier. The manager...
Read moreQuick service. No wait. Hot food. Correct order. (Dec 2021) 8 months later, my orders here have never been wrong until today. I was heading home from work and stopped here. I never order bacon. Ever. Because of my beliefs, I always am sure to order either chicken or plain cheese burgers. I do not eat, touch, or engage with anything that has pork in/on it. The woman at the drive-thru repeated my order and I confirmed. But she, apparently, rung up something different (JBC instead of Junior Cheese Burger). In good faith, I left without looking in my bag. After getting home, however, I checked my bag and noticed there was bacon on my burgers. Saddened, I returned to the restaurant with the untouched sandwiches and explained the situation. The cashier handled things beautifully although one of the other staff members rebutted that I had ordered the JBC when I, in fact, didn't. The latter made me feel a bit sad. It was completely unnecessary and rude, especially since I was not belligerent or obtuse in any form or fashion. But, I will keep the 5 star review because this was one bad experience out of many good experiences and again, the cashier at the counter was very professional and...
Read moreThis is probably the worst Wendy's to not only go to as a customer but work at. I worked as a front cashier. I did quite well on the job my first day. I did the same the next day until I was totally disrespected by a manager who cussed me out in front of other co-workers just to get her point accords because I made a mistake. To make matters worse, it was only my second day. I told the head manager over her about it and he said we all would sit down and talk about it but then he basically was saying that he was choosing her word over mine and when I tried to explain myself, I kept getting cut off and he didn't even want to hear my side of the story but I never was disrespectful in any way to anybody but she was the one being unprofessional.I guess he found that behavior acceptable but doesn't make it right.Next thing I know he tells me when I come pick up my check to turn in my uniform but what am I getting fired for? That was...
