Weird experience, won't be back. Service was fine, food was good. A bit shocked that the sangria, which did come in a large frosty mug and was tasty, was $12. The strange thing is that when I paid with my credit card it came short by $2.70🤔. In my experience the charge either clears or is denied so this was def weird and rather alarming. I immediately checked my bank account via app and confirmed that there was indeed thousands more than required to buy my meal in it. I then asked the employee how this happens and he said sometimes it just charges what it can and the rest has to be settled up otherwise. I told him there is more than enough in my account to cover the cost of my meal and he rolled his eyes at me😳. I paid the $2.70 in cash and also left a more than appropriate cash tip. Whoever is running this place needs to ensure that your credit readers are working correctly and instruct your staff on polite customer interaction. Delicious!!! There’s a stage and bar and looks like a fun place to be after dark - sign advertising karaoke, not sure which day. Mexican music playing, I’m not great at knowing genres but sounded like the kind of thing I would hear in the neighborhood during parties, so festive. Very large menu. Tons of seafood. Food described in English and Spanish. My party ordered a chicken burrito, vegetarian burrito and chicken taco salad and everyone adored what they had. The vegetarian burrito had mushrooms and zucchini, so a lot more than the usual peppers and onions most places give. Very creamy and cheesy! As many times as I’ve eaten here I hate to leave this bad review... BUT we ate there Saturday night, the live band was great, our waitress was not so great unfortunately. She served my husband 5 beers while my glass of sweet tea sat on the table empty. The only time she came to the table was to ask my husband if he needed another beer and rushed off. I completely understand she was busy but my husband finally asked her to refill my drink after palmist two hours of it being empty. Also I ordered the baked oysters and they tasted amazing but there was big pieces of shell inside and you couldn’t see it through the melted cheese.
