I have had 2 awful experiences here. First time I had a buy one get one free small shake coupon and decided to get 2 small vanilla malt shakes. The guy at the front (scary and mean) told me I had to pay the extra for the malt powder in the shakes which was fine since the coupon was for shakes and not malts. I asked if I would still get the deal and he just took the coupon from me and I assumed rang it in. At the end of my order he told me my total(~16 dollars) and I was confused but paid anyway(I had used 2 other coupons aswell) I got my receipt and found out that he charged me for both shakes. Then when I got my shakes 1 was decent and the other was just malt and milk. Horrible and really gross. Yesterday I went hoping my experience would be better. My dad got a hot fudge blizzard with malt and they made him a shake so when he asked them to correct it they just dumped the shake in a blizzard cup and told him it was runny because of the hot fudge. Then I got a vanilla malt shake and not only was it again basically milk and malt, there was so much malt powder I couldn't take more than a sip. It was horrible and the malt was chunky and gritty and I'm sure expired. My dad always tips well no matter the circumstances but the man(same scary, grumpy mean one) and his other female counterpart seemed annoyed and bothered when my dad asked for his to be fixed. Read moreTheir was a girl ( the only transgender individual the only one that works there with pig tails wearing a cap and square glasses) was so rude and beyond disrespectful I left feeling so upset and absolutely disgusted with the customer service skills that she displayed. I was asking what this certain dessert was called and her and one other co worker were absolutely no help and not only laughed at my speech impediment, but also threw my money at me that it almost got blown away in the wind! I did nothing to this person to be treated the way I was treated and just because she was having a bad day doesn’t make it OK at all. I I’m saddened by this because I visit this location frequently and never had an issue let alone one like this. I will not be returning back to this location and hope the manager can see this and acknowledge the wrong doing that was done here. I never leave reviews but she was SO rude and SO unprofessional that I needed to express what happened today while I was there. She needs to be disciplined or reprimanded because I did nothing wrong. I don't like to leave these type of reviews, but last night at this Dairy Queen location I experienced an event that will take a while to forget. The man running the till, rang up an elderly gentleman's order incorrectly. As the elderly gentleman went to pick up his ice cream, he proceeded to explain that it wasn't what he ordered. At this point, the manager began yelling at the man she was training on the till, basically calling him stupid. She then told the elderly man he would have to pay AGAIN to get his ice cream if he wanted it correctly. The elderly gentleman was confused and upset, and the manager proceeded to yell at him to make up his mind on whether or not he was going to pay again and get his correct ice cream or not.
