I thought I recognized the food truck in the back. Yeah, that's the truck that was serving rockin' Thai chow from the parking lot of the abandoned gas station at Main and 24th. Well they opened up a brick and mortar just around the "S" bend from Chinatown Buffet on Riverwood Drive. Maybe all of 1500 square feet with seating for 30 or less. Walking up the ramp to the front door, I could tell we got there at the right time- just before 11:15 on a weekday- as the short line at the counter was evident through the glass front. Good thing service was quick! Order at the counter please. Decided on Pad Thai and a Chicken Curry. Both right on for the spice, not so much with the choice of meat. Chicken breast a little dry and chewy in both dishes. Next time going with my original choice, shrimp! Friendly staff, maybe a little frazzled as they visited our table only once to serve. I would have taken the time to let them know of their chicken being just so-so but they never asked. I'll be back again because like I said, their seasoning is spot on. And if they take a little more time with their service, maybe they'll make 5 stars!

I'm only giving this a 4 star because it is crowded, which I know isn't a bad thing for some but when you are claustrophobic, this is anxiety inducing. There's not a lot of seating and the noise level is elevated so this definitely isn't the place for a quiet meal. Outside of that, the staff is super friendly, and the food tastes great. I ordered the garlic lovers chicken and it does not disappoint. It's VERY garlicky. My son ordered the pineapple fried rice dish and the only words he could find to describe it is Thai heaven. The water is served with lemon in it, so if that's something you don't like, make sure you tell them. They do offer outside seating but unfortunately it was super windy and not that warm today. I definitely recommend trying this place even if you order it delivered. Oh also there is very little parking so you may have to park across the street and walk over like we did.

Awesome food and friendly people! If you want good pad Thai, this is the place to go. Excellent! But, with high quality comes a high price, so come ready to spend. Shrimp pad Thai was $20 with 4 shrimp, but the shrimp are large and very fresh tasting. $7 for a medium Thai milk tea, but very good and good boba. I just think I'd need to spend $14 and get two Thai milk teas to get the amount I craved if Im ever in the area again. $10 4 fried spring rolls with lots of sweet chili sauce. The spring rolls were good, but I prefer fresh spring rolls wrapped in the clear, moist, and cold wrapper with peanut sauce for dipping. I read somewhere that they may have had fresh spring rolls in the past. They always said 15 minutes when I ordered, but I waited an extra 10 after arriving every time. I suggest ordering 20-30 minutes before your expected arrival.

EAT Thai is one of my wife and I's favorite places in town to eat. At its peak it is easily a 5 start review, but lately I've had a few disappointing experiences which is prompting my review, hoping they see this and don't let them selves slip in quality. Recently we order takeout online after ordering their site indicated it would be ready at 6:00pm. I arrived at 5:55pm to see my food was prepared and waiting for me. When I started eating it was to the point of very cool/cold. I called and they said they made it immediately when the order was received. My gripe from this is dont tell me it's going to be ready at 6 and make it at 5:30. Either tell me it's going to be ready immediately, or make it when you say you will. Second, our most recent trip, the rice seemed almost ground up? Was not whole grains of rice, but seemed like rice mash. Also the chicken was very chewy/fatty/gibbery. With a few bad experiences in a row, EAT Thai is beginning to slide in our minds...

Update: After leaving my review I was contacted by who I believe to be the manager or owner via email. He sincerely apologized about my experiences I detailed above and told me how he greatly appreciated the feedback that I left. Super impressed with him doing this and I will absolutely continue going to EAT Thai and certainly mention this great act of hospitality to...

When doing a roadtrip we sometimes find gems and sometimes end up in places where we'd rather just eat a granola bar.. Add to that being in the middle of a covid-19 pandemic and being a family that cares about the elderly around us and others and it makes it really difficult to find places that complies to safety rules and have good food in the middle of nowhere. WELL, EatThai was one of the greatest surprise, they are not currently providing indoor dining wich is very reassuring for us but not that common here in Bismarck. Ordering online was super smooth and easy, the menu offers enough variety without being cluttered with hundreds of options, my husband is vegan and had no trouble ordering a panang curry made exclusively with vegetables, you can also pick how spicy you want your food. Our order was ready earlier and we ate in the car. I'm half asian and have been traveling to Asia and most specifically Thailand many times and let me tell you the food was DELICIOUS. Tasty and fresh, we actually said to ourselves how back in Brooklyn NY, we don't get anything as good in our neighborhood 🤷🏻‍♀️ so yes the reviews are totally accurate, the place is nice and clean and the food is amazing, if I was living in Bismarck I'd order from...

The food was, as always, delicious. But the dinner I was so looking forward to all afternoon was spoiled by my experience with picking it up.

I ordered online at around 1:00 to be picked up (curbside) at 5:15. I got there a few minutes early, called as instructed, and was told they were just finishing up my order and would bring it out shortly. I called again 15 minutes later to see if I was in the right spot... again I was told they were just finishing it up etc. Five minutes later, I called & got the same response. So I said I’d come in instead of waiting for them to “bring It right out.” I was angry, and loud and am now embarrassed at how reacted but I ordered four hours early in order to avoid a long wait. I’m not really as lazy as this makes me sound. I recently had hip surgery so walking is still sort of painful, especially after having worked all day. This is why I chose curbside too, their parking lot is in the back of the restaurant so you have to walk around to the front. I thought curbside would be a great option. I thought.

The food was good but my dining experience was nearly ruined by the frustration of having to wait close to a half hour...
