I’ve been to a number of restaurants over the years that have been hilariously terrible but this McDonalds may be the poster child for pathetic fast food restaurants. You can only order at a kiosk and the staff literally ignore you if you don’t. When the kiosk doesn’t have the physical table numbers and you’re forced to type in a random number, most people type 1 and then there’s multiple orders with table marker 1 listed on their electronic order. When the kiosk doesn’t give you a receipt, the workers can’t help you with it, only stating that their boss has the key to the computer and he’s not onsite. So you have multiple people waiting on orders that all fall under the same order number, no one has a receipt, and the workers simply do nothing to assist. I think it goes without saying, this place is a zoo. Do yourself and the local folks of Bismarck a favor and stop supporting this location. The power of money and your vote with it (i.e., buying or not buying something) rights all wrongs and supporting this location only contributes to this nonsense. Also, they’re attempting to be cashless, which is not only illegal, it’s contributing to a cashless society. If you think the covid lockdowns were bad, wait until the world is cashless and the bureaucracy can control you because they control your electronic money. Paper money is the only way to prevent that: we don’t need a computer or the bureaucracy if we barter and trade with paper money. If I wasn’t with a group I would have walked the second I saw the kiosk and no workers solely for that reason. After watching and experiencing whatever you call this business model in action, the rest of the group realized all...
Read moreI have been to all of the McDonalds in the bisman area over the past few years and this one on Burnt Boat Drive has always consistently been the worst. I always have a horrible experience here no matter how slow they seem to be. I've come during night shift, day shift, lunch rush, and most recently I tried breakfast at this location because it's the closest McDonald's to my apartment.
it was so bad this time I will never go back to this location. I ordered beforehand on the mobile app, all they needed to ask me was for a 4 digit code and they even screwed that up somehow. I only ordered 1 drink this time - a sweet tea, and when they handed me my order at first, I had to tell the woman at the window that I was supposed to get a drink with my order too. "oh for sure I got you" was her response, so cool I think to myself, she's gonna hook me up herself right? nope. she gave me regular tea that was mostly melted ice and had to have been sitting on their counter since open. pretty sure she did that on purpose, simply because I asked for the drink I paid for... oh well I thought, if that's all that's messed up I can forgive it.
lol of course it wasn't. our sandwiches were all slapped together with ingredients that didn't smell like normal McDonald's food, which by my my mywas off-putting itself. but then when we got to the bottom of the bag, 2 of the sandwiches weren't even wrapped up correctly. just hanging out of the wrapper halfway, both of them barely able to be considered a sandwich. it...
Read moreConsistently poor quality food and service. Mcchickens come out floppy and chewy like they sat in a warmer for 2 hours. Burgers sometimes come out dry, buns too. Any modifications have a 50/50 shot at being correct. Almost never get napkins in the bag. Workers are sometimes unattentive and just hand you your food without a word while turned away talking with coworkers.
The food here is so consistently bad that it has not only become a running joke at the office, but all my friends know how much i dislike this particular mcdonalds because i have, at some point, complained about it to each of them.
I don't usually write google reviews because I am.very busy, but I felt that something needed to be said about this establishment. Changes start from the top. I managed restaurants for 3 years and worked in them for 10, so I know what is acceptable and...
