Space Aliens Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Bismarck

We sat in the bar. There were 3 tables including ours with a total of 9 people in the entire bar. The waitress brought a food menu but no drink menu....in a bar. When asked to bring one she rolled her eyes and took 10 minutes to grab it. Drinks were ordered 10 minutes before the food was and sat out on the bar until minutes before for the food was brought. Drinks were horrible and tasted like blended ice(went there for them because normally they are really good). Had to ask for sour cream for Taco Pizza more than a couple times since she kept forgetting and ketchup for the fries......which were cold by the time ketchup came and who likes cold soggy fries even with ketchup!?! The one time she asked how the food was tasting was as she watched the waitress set one plate down with other plates being sat down, what!?! All this could be acceptable if the place was busy. It was July 5th after 7pm and there might of been 20 cars max which is very unusual. I owned restaurants so for me to leave a bad review especially for a restaurant does not happen unless the food or service is one of the worst I have experienced!!! Honestly, I love going there usually love their drinks if I am in the mood to have a drink which in itself a rare occurrence but I do love their food!!! The service before this time was ok but worth going again BUT the service this time was bad enough to the point of possibly not going again, at least not in Bismarck.....there are plenty of places to go where service is much better. Personally I will always go back to a place where the service is excellent and the food is ok before going to a place with good food and horrible service!!! Still left a 30% tip which was 25% more than she...

So this was our first time at space aliens. We went around 3pm because we wanted to beat the dinner rush. I'm just going to say that everything was as out of this world as they advertise! There's aliens everywhere! The booths were a little small for the size of the plates they bring you but outside of that, I would 10/10 recommend. We started off with the Solar Eclipse sampler. It had mozzarella sticks, chicken strips, and what they call rockets, which I'm pretty sure is a deep fried Mac and cheese stick. It's served with ranch, bbq, and marinara sauces. My Husband and I ordered the Brisket BBQ pizza and let me just tell you, if you like burnt ends, this is the pizza for you! Their BBQ sauce paired perfectly with the brisket and the onion fries. The crust was thin and crispy but so flavorful. The brisket wasn't overcooked at all. Their pizzas are 12" pizzas, so keep that in mind when you order. Our daughter got the Mac n cheese pizza and said it was delicious and paired really well with the bbq sauce. Our sin had the Alien burger with a side of Mac n cheese. The burger was juicy, the bun was seared to perfection, and the lettuce was crisp. Now after all that food the bill did come to just over $94 but it was well worth it. We didn't get to go to the game room but we will definitely be back for round 2 in the near future. If you are ever close to one, go...

At the hostess stand a girl immediately said "Do you want to just sit in the bar?" Not "Hi, not where would you like to sit, Have you ever been here before", etc. It took almost 10 minutes for our server Daniel to notice us and take a drink order. We ordered chicken tortilla soups (room temp cheese sauce with Doritos in it), an appetizer & our meals. The AYCE bbq has no description of the items included, and our server didn't know either. When I finally ordered, a cardboard boat with 6 slabs of meat in it was dropped in front of me. Our server immediately says "Do you want to put in a refill order now?" No, not yet I said, I haven't tried it, and what is this? I thought I'd get a sampling of everything". "Oh that's the ribs" and walks away. The brisket & pulled pork were delivered later after I asked for them, in a similar fashion, and finally at some point, a bottle of bland bbq sauce. Before I finished this, our check was dropped on our table, without asking if we wanted anything else. When our server FINALLY returned to take our check almost 20 minutes later, he says "Oh, I forgot you guys were here, you just blend in".... we were both wearing blue shirts sitting by a red wall... I am also 6'3" and wear a cowboy hat...not the most inconspicuous of people. The gimic (scarce alien decor) is not enough to make up for...
