GOT A FROSTY HURLED AT ME!!!!! Visited on 9/20 just before noon. Lobby was closed so I went thru the drive thru. I asked for a baconator combo (which the picture shows 2 patties) with no ketchup or Mayo. I also asked to get a small vanilla frosty. The operator neglected to ask small? Medium? Or large? I was fine with the regular size so I said I'd take a sprite with the combo. Operator failed to repeat my order back. Operator stated my total was $12.72. I drove up and the operator a tanned woman, mid to late 20s at oldest with medium curly brown hair who was bilingual (I wasn't listening as to what language) she takes my card and hands me a bag. The bag feels light so I look. The burger is wrapped with the "hamburger" logo on the outside. I check and it's a single patty burger (I don't look farther than that). I tell her it's not right and she starts arguing with me that it is. I say no, it's supposed to have 2 patties. She says you didn't specify so I just gave you a single. I said according to the picture it's supposed to have 2 patties and the son of baconator is supposed to have 1 patty. She continues to argue with me. At this point I'm done so I say give me my flipping* card back, you better not have charged me, I don't want this. She gives me my card back (I find out later she did in fact charge me) and I try to give her back the food because A it was not what I ordered and B I wasn't going to take food that I "didn't pay for". She refuses to take the food back and is trying to shut the drive thru window. I barely tossed the bag (I watched) into the window. It landed on the ledge. I was in no way aiming for anyone. Before I could drive away the frosty is hurled so hard thru the air that it passes in front of my face and hits my passenger window with an audible smack. There was frosty on my window, my frame, my dash, my door, and my seat. My car is now sticky and stained. IF SHE HAD HIT ME, I COULD HAVE LOST CONTROL OF MY CAR AND WRECKED. I tried calling the store but no one would answer. I tried calling the south location but again no answer, only voice-mail. I was left calling customer service. I was on hold over 1 hour and 45 min. The customer service said I was correct (baconator has two patties) and that the operator was in the wrong on multiple accounts. She put the complaint as high priority to the locations district manager as well as human resources. It is now September 25th and I've still gotten...
Read moreThis place has gotten so ridiculous! If there’s one or two cars in front of you in the drive thru, guaranteed you will be waiting at least 20 minuets for your food. Tonight, there were about five cars in the drive thru so I told my bf we should go inside. This was 9:15 pm, so not a peak time. The only people at the counter were a woman and her kids whose drive thru order was wrong (shocker, the past few months I get the right order about 50% of the time). There was four workers by the drive thru, there was a woman cleaning the dining room that kept walking behind the counter but never greeted us. After 3-4 minutes, I checked if it was a touchscreen where we were supposed to enter our own order. NOPE Lady and her kids finally got there food, so, you’d think we would be helped. Again, nope! Still not even a greeting. If I would have ignored customers like this or made them wait this long when I worked fast food, I would have been written up, if not fired. I told my bf we should go somewhere else, he said we should be water on soon. Three minutes later (after the guy that fixed the lady’s order looked at us several times and kept walking back to his buddies by the drive thru) I announced loud enough for them to hear that I could walk to Dans and get food sooner than I could get it from them. I walked to Simonsons instead (I googled the distance, it was a half mile away). Just as I was walking into simonsons, my bf texted that he had his food and was I at Dan’s. That was 22 minutes after we first got to Wendy’s. We could have gone to any of the sit down restaurants in the area and gotten our food just as quickly, if not...
Read moreMy most recent experience at this particular Wendy's was not a good one. I had limited time to eat so I chose Wendy's because it's a fast food restaurant. Or so I thought. The line was backed up to the door, and the line moved so slow. I am not sure if they were under staffed or just super slow.
Watching the workers, I could see 2 people without gloves handling food. Especially with the timing of events right now, this should not be acceptable. I had ordered their bbq burger and a drink. After this happened, about 3 or 4 orders came out instantly, and I got my order very quickly. This changed of pace surprised me, until I had realized the the burger I got was just a normal cheese burger. I was so frustrated, having waited in line for 30 minutes to order a simple thing off the menu, and get something totally different also while being ripped off in the process since the bbq cheeseburger is about a dollar more. The good thing from this was food tasted good and fresh. And the man at the register was very polite. The place seemed somewhat clean. I will probably not be returning to this Wendy's...
