While going to Utah from Idaho we were feeling hungry and we decided to have lunch at El Mirador. It is a small Mexican restaurant. We were greeted by our server Luis and after exploring the menu we decided to order Chile peppers, Mexican Pizza and Chicken Tacos. Our server bought water along with chips and salsa. The salsa was delicious and it was amazing with chips. Our order came in 10-15 minutes. First we tried Chile peppers which were okay. Then we tried Mexican Pizza which was new for us. The pizza looked delicious and it was good. Then we had tacos and we didn't like the chicken in tacos as well as pizza. It had weird taste. Although apart from chicken we like all of our food with ingredients.

My family and I usually like going to El Mirador. We were just beyond dissatisfied with their food. We made a big order of carnitas, for a party. The food had no spices or flavor. It seemed as though they boiled it in water, rather than fry it ( how carnitas are usually made/cooked). We were all very disappointed in how much we paid for it, to get something that was flavorless.

We stopped here after hearing some recommendations. The food is good, a little pricy but what is considered normal cost for dining out anyways? The food was good. My wife ordered something that was super bland, but that is nature of that dish. There are complementary chips with beans and salsa which is nice. A typical experience you’d come to expect at a Mexican restaurant.

I love going to this place.I been going here For about Almost seven years I always got good service except on friday.I took my daughter out to Eat To have mother and daughter day, I told the waitress what I wanted. She didn't even listen and zoned out. Then I had to repeat my order twice. And still did not got everything I wanted I ordered chicken enchiladas with extra sauce. 3 sides of salsa. And a coke with no ice and a side order A flour tortilla And my daughter got a chicken enchilada with french fries With coke and no ice And only thing I received was my enchiladas in a glass Water , Same with my daughter did I get my drinks? I ordered my salsa. I ordered multiple. Because my daughter likes it as well Did not get no tortillas, no extra sauce on my enchiladas, nothing I was very disappointed . Every time I asked for something she never came by or stopped, it was very aggravating 😤 I can understand if she had a bad day. But she didn't treat the other customers. That way I usually tip twenty dollars or more But I don't give that if I don't get...

The did I had was yuck. Don't recallwhat it was called but it had what I believed looked on the menu like 3 small Tostadas along with rice and beans on a dinner plate. The server told me they were like Tostadas so I ordered them. I don't know how to describe what I got. It was 3 circular things on the plate with toppings on each but the circular bases were horrible. Nothing like aTostada base. They were thick, relative to a normal Tostada base, with a slight elevated edge encircling them and a knife was needed to cut them; they were chewy and a little tough and no pleasant taste to them at all. Rice and beans were not the best I've ever eaten, especially the rice. It was too thick and dry. Additionally, server was nice while taking orders from our group but never came back to refill waters or sodas unless we flagged her down on the occasion she came out of the kitchen area to take another order from another table. Perhaps the restaurant was...

SEGREGATION IS ALIVE AND WELL! While I was being seated, I noticed that there was a table with 4 Hispanic men at a window seat with plenty of empty seating around them, while all the white customers (5 groups) were crowded into the two center rows of the dining room (8-10 tables). I thought this was a little odd and I mentioned it to my husband. He and I watched as 3 tables near us vacated and were immediately filled with white people. During the hour we spent there, two separate Hispanic parties came in and were immediately shown to window seats, even though there were still two empty booths in the center section. I mentioned it to the server as we left. She said it was nothing. The food there is good, but there are other places with good food and I don't have to endure the...
