XII Stones Internet Cafe — Restaurant in Blackfoot

I have come here on and off for years now, and usually receive amazing service/great food. It has been about a year since I last visited, and was excited to get my family's usual biscuits and gravy. I called in my order and was told 20 minutes at most for a wait. I arrived 15 minutes after I called, and was told it would be just a little longer. I waited for another 15 minutes before being told it was almost done they just had to wait for the gravy to fully heat up. Another 20 minutes after my food finally comes out. I get the usual sorry for your wait, and I paid then left. When arriving home I was excited to dig in to find the gravy cold, and chunks not fully mixed in. The gravy had a rank taste, and after just a few bites I had to throw it out. Cleaning does not seem to be a priority here any more I looked around while waiting, and noticed chunks of food all over the cutting board in the front, tables with dirty dishes, and just hearing all the works in back joking about how something tasted horrible. I am writing this review in hopes that they clean up their act, and bring back the great service/ food they once had! I will not be returning, and I will no longer recommend them to friends/ family as the best place to get a great breakfast...

I just stopped here on my way through town, and I happened to use the bathroom at the same time as a female employee, who didn't wash her hands after using the facilities. She went immediately behind the counter and started counting out her register. I approached her and informed her that I witnessed her health code violation. Her response, as she stuffed cash into an envelope, was that she was leaving work anyway so it didn't matter. Her coworker looked appropriately horrified, as did I. Been meaning to try this place out for awhile, and finally got around to it. I regret not going in sooner, because it is a delightful little place! The atmosphere is cozy, cute, and comfortable. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and everyone seems to know everyone. And the food was very good. We went for breakfast and I was really impressed with the quality of the food. We will definitely be going again! It is a great place to meet with friends or a place to escape to read a good book with a latte in hand. Again, highly impressed and I look forward to...
