Room: Clean. Housekeeping does a pretty good job. Bed is average but I can sleep on anything. AC works fine. Not all rooms have a fridge and microwave. Those rooms cost extra.
Room Rates: Vary from room to room. I stayed here for three weeks, got move twice because it was the "busy season." Got a contractors discount but there is still a $5 per day up-charge for each Friday and Saturday.
Amenities: WI-FI good luck. Works fine if there's nobody in the hotel. Bandwidth is poor. I had to use my phone as a hotspot to write this review. (the router is right outside my room)
Breakfast: It'll be out after 6am and broken down before 11. If you are a contractor, staying multiple nights or an early riser don't count on the breakfast to be out before 6. The cheapskate manager (Randy) doesn't like the fact that so many people eat breakfast and drink coffee. To counteract the contractors that are usually up and leaving before or at 6 his staff makes sure to be absent around that time so that he can save a few cents on syrup and supplies.
Ice machine: They sell ice in the lobby for $2. People with ice chests or coolers are not allowed to use the ice machine to fill them. The hotel staff bags the ice right out of the ice machine. They will bag ice until its empty and then try and sell it to you. Don't pay for the ice, it's a scam.
Washer and dryer: If you plan on doing laundry get up early. They have 1 washer and 1 dryer. $1 each and the dryer doesn't dry worth a crap.
Summary: If you "need" a place to stay for the night it'll do in a pinch. If you are going to be in town for a few weeks look on craigslist for a house to rent and...
Read moreWe stayed in a 2 bed non-smoking on the 2nd floor for a funeral over Feb 9-11. It's near the freeway, and there's a Ridley's grocery right next door! You get a gym pass to the cutest little Anytime Fitness for your stay (but I didn't have time). Breakfast is included, and I made waffles and got yogurt which are my fave comfort foods! Just look at the expiry on the yogurt. I got one that was Jan 25. The staff was super kind and friendly! The room was meticulous! Everything smelled great, and that's a wonderful complement considering some places smell of must or overly smoky. The upstairs was where we stayed. The floor, carpet and beds were all clean and smelled nice no stains! The bathroom was clean and no hair in the drains. The heat takes a min to get all the way warm, and the blackout curtain doesn't cover over it, so be mindful of where u put the curtain and turn the heat up when you get there to get great sleep. Only suggestion is, should you have time, to consider brighter lighting in the parking lot. I parked under the light the first night and next to the door by my hotel the next night which was much better. Please don't be scared of the "smoke fee" m the non smoking rooms (which included Marijuana) because that's what makes this place GREAT!! (The smell of smoke makes me vomit). It was also so quiet and comfy. I'm pleasantly surprised with this...

The staff here will help themselves into your room to check if you are staying another night. Even if you tell the front desk how long you're staying at check-in... I've had two, one night stays at this business and both times I had someone at my door in the morning.
The first time I was on the phone when they knocked, I began walking to the door but within 5 seconds I heard their card slide into the lock and I caught the door as they opened it. I was greeted by a woman, but a big dude (like 6'6" and built like a refrigerator flanked her and was clearly there as security or an enforcer or whatever.
The second time I was actually in the shower, heard them at the door. I had the door latched and I'm not sure if they got past that, but by the time I got out of the shower they were gone. For all I know they had a minute or so to meander my room and look for reasons to charge me more or steal valuables. Bottom line, I had to get out of the shower at 8AM...
That they got any stars was that they were at least polite throughout my stays. Still not worth the $70-80 a night, I've definitely stayed at better...
