Ordered the classic breakfast for 6 95 and hot chocolate for 219 with free refills only got one refill which I had to go ask for the classic breakfast existed of two pancakes two eggs in a meat which and it said something about a choice of bread or biscuit will you should have got the bread or biscuit even though you got the pancakes but they never brought me no bread or biscuits and you think that they would have offered you toast instead of bread but either way it didn't get that the pancakes were very small I ordered eggs over easy eggs over medium and the sausage was cooked right but the waitress only come back twice actually 3 times once when I went up and got my refill and then to come give me my check and The Collector Plate I was very disappointed in Bob Evans it's not like it used to be the price is high the portions are small you get very thin pancakes instead of a fluffy big pancake they are making some pretty good money charging to 19 and only given maybe one refill if you're lucky or hot chocolate and the copies more expensive almost $3 their pocket and good money they should be ashamed for the portions if they give at Bob Evans in the price that they're charging then breakfast is went up to almost $12 a regular family on regular pay can really not go to Bob...
Read moreBob Evans has always been a place to go for breakfast and use to be great in every way. The last few times before the pandemic, all the important aspects that made it a great place to eat changed. Slow service, over or under cooked meals, no one being attentive to our needs, waiting to be seated, and once seated waiting for long periods for wait person to take your order. Today we went for breakfast, before heading out of town. We waited a long period for our meal so we sit and observed their safety measures of protecting those visiting their establishment. The cook had no mask, while preparing meals, waitresses had their masks pulled down, however she was very attentive to our needs. She also ask if we wanted her to pull her mask up???. Place was well spaced, inorder to protect visitors and give us a since of feeling safe. Overall it was a good visit and the meal was just ok, because I couldn't stop thinking about the cook not being masked. The cook talking over people's food, as he took orders to prepare. What if he wipes his mouth or sneezes. So many what ifs during these times, what if he had a mask on, would this review, have seen Bob Evans restaurant in a better way. More than likely, my safety will...
Read moreI have always enjoyed Bob Evans. I visit there typically when my family comes to town. This time, we decided to order curbside from them because it had been a while. However, now I wish we had not. My sons love the Little Piggy Pancakes. Their pancakes had no "eyes" (chocolate syrup) "nose" (banana) and we had to calm our youngest down because he thought the piggy had no face. They also ordered OJ with their meal but they were only about 1/2 full. My husband ordered a medium-cooked steak with some shrimp. His order ended up having about 3 shrimp on it and the steak was definitely NOT medium (way over-cooked). And the mac-and-cheese side looked like it had been sitting around for quite a while but the cheese tasted burnt. My meal was the chicken-n-noodles which is something I get regularly when they are not in pot pie season. The sauce/soup more liquidy than I have ever had it before and it had hardly any seasoning on it. Because of the watery soup/sauce, the biscuit was soggy before I even had a chance to touch the meal. About the only good thing about the order was it didn't take long to get the meal. It is going to be a while before we return to...
