UPDATE: 12/29/16 Just about every time I go in here I have to wait for more orange chicken. It doesn't make sense to me why they wouldn't have 2 bowls of orange chicken during busy times since 90% of customers order this!!!! Your line would move much faster. I walked out for the 2nd time tonight because I didn't want to wait AGAIN!!!! And what's truly aggravating is they had enough...but as soon as it was my turn? They took the rest of it for.drove through!!! Talk about pissing off a hungry fat girl!!!! Lol At least have a damn backup. On a side note, the chicken was really gross the other night.. dried out and had been sitting too long. Other than that it's been great other times but I'm just tired or waiting. I'm taking away another star because they don't manage the line well at all, not very friendly (the managers, who are kids btw) and the other night when I did wait I was there for half an hour between the line and waiting for more food. That is unacceptable in my opinion.
UPDATE: 10/24/16 the noodles are much better now and for a minute the chicken was great! It had more sauce on it, but not it's seems to be dry again...the last several times I've gone in there. Tonight I had a guy make it because I've had his orange chicken before and it was really good, I asked him to put a lot of sauce on it...he didn't. MORE SAUCE ON THE ORANGE CHICKEN!!!! PLEASE! I eat here all the time!
I went to the Panda Express in Meridian Mall and WOW!!! What a difference! The food was so much better! I always get chow me in and double orange chicken. The chicken had more sauce on it...quite a bit more which made a huge difference in taste. The chow me in was tender and not chewy and dry like the one here. I don't have a problem with service but I truly think our Panda in Jackson could learn a lot from the one in Meridian Mall. They are stingy with the sauce on the chicken and won't give you extra...I bought a bottle but it doesn't taste the same so why not just give extra if someone wants it? And they need to cook the chow me in longer so the noodles aren't so tough and dry. I really believe they would get more business if they just made a few small changes to the way they cook things. I would've liked to have...
Read moreThis is the worst panda express in america and i go to PE whenever i travel cuz its never bad and always cheap. Well this one is. For starters they used to have the most watered down, warm drink machines. I never bought them cuz they were nasty. Any dish that had vegetables was mainly vegetables. They never had the teas. I stopped going. Decided to give it another chance like a year later cuz its the only panda express for another 45 minutes.
This time i see they have the teas but its behind the counter which i have never seen at a panda express. I dont see how the signature teas would be watered down so i decided to give it a try. I asked if they had enough for two flavors mixed with no ice because it was almost empty. He told me he had to ask the manager if he can mix them. Then comes back and says yes but not in the future. Then as hes ringing me up he shows me with his finger on the cup halfway and lets me know thats where he is going to fill it up to because they normally fill the drinks entirely with ice, am i ok with that? I say no, i just want a cup of tea filled up and no ice. He tells me he has to ask his manager if he can fill it up. Im like just take it off. He finishes ringing me up and AFTER i pay runs it by me again. Im like i do not want half a cup full of tea (to which this location only has one size and its a s cup at others), take it off if youre gonna do that. And he just did it. Completely ruined the experience. GM here needs to be fired for ruining peoples experiences over drinks and it literally costs like 10 cents to pour 20 drinks.
Also they had no sweet and sour sauce for the veggie rolls and didnt tell me until i asked, i thought it came with them? I couldn't imagine ordering door dash from here. I cant eat spring rolls or crab ragoons without sweet...
Read moreOTR Driver stopped to pick up a bite. Ordered online. Walked in to pick up my order. I just want to drop my appreciation for an outstanding Employee who represents Awesome Customer Service for Panda Express, even while on his lunch break he made sure to greet his customers, got up to let them know behind the counter who was here for their pick up order, and made sure to Thank his customers as they were leaving. Didn't catch his name, but he's about 5'9", short brown wavy/curly hair, young male, very polite, confident, and professional. Every State could use a young man like this one every where !!! Its my honor to let places know how Customer Service is where ever I go, it's so hard to find. Especially within our youth today. Please acknowledge him. Shift 12/22/2020 @ 1:40pm.
Food was cooked to perfection, best I've had yet state to state. Way to go cook and prep staff.
One staff member won't mention her name, but never let your customer over hear your ( I don't care who's here for their food ) made a bad first impression, however I could see you were very busy and focused on making ( to go orders ) you recovered it when you gave me my correct order, and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving. I get it, fast food can get challenging during lunch rush hour, but keep in mind there's always someone looking for that outstanding customer service to review about, make sure they have nothing but good stuff to say...
