I brought my family in for dinner thinking that this was like other Coney Islands owned by the same family that I have frequented for years and was sadly disappointed.
Our order was simple. One Coney Dog no onions or mustard. Waitress brings a Coney with exactly that. Okay simple mistake, moving on. I ordered the Friday Special All You Can Eat Fish. Another simple dish. I get 3 small pieces of fried fish on a bed of lettuce and some mashed potato. The fish was mediocre and again very small but all you can eat right??? Wrong.
The rude waitress Chrystal, asks me how many more pieces I am going to eat. Usually I just eat until I am satified but trying to be understanding I told her that the pieces were small and I could easily eat at least 5+ more pieces. She tells me she will talk to her boss and see what she can do. She brings out 3 more small pieces and tells me that there will not be any more coming after 8:00PM. Keep in mind this I did not get my order until after 8:15PM.
I asked the waitress if I would still be charged the 10.99 even though I would not be getting what I ordered. After hearing I wold be getting charged full price for half service I set the 3 pieces of fish back. She returned to the kitchen (Across the restaurant 25+ ft) and I overhear Chrystal talking about me "He is throwing a fit about it."
Now Im sorry but where I come from the customer is always right and I should never have to argue to get what I am paying for. Secondly, if you are going enforce a rule regarding No All You Can Eat after 8:00 maybe you should tell the customer before yoi bring them the order. Thirdly, as a paying customer I should never hear a member of your staff badmouthing me, especially at the furthest table from the kitchen!
I am going home hungry and with a bad taste in my mouth from earing at the Jackson Crossing Alpha Coney Island. What a waste of money. Next time Ill just go to McDonalds or Long John Silvers. At least I will get what I order and...

Every single time I order food to go OR sit in to eat it’s always an issue of snotty staff or issues with an order this time I am pretty upset! I ordered food for takeout on a Sunday afternoon for three people one being a kid. I am adding a photo bc this is what STARTED an ongoing issue for me. My son ordered French toast and a side of fruit. MY PHOTO SHOWS THIS OPTION IS AVAILABLE FOR ORDERING. I called and placed order. Then got home to see no fruit? Curious as to why not I called them. The person who I spoke too assured me it wasn’t an option they offered for this meal. I said so why is it online also why wouldn’t the server who took my order tell me this? This lady assure me twice it wasn’t “her problem “ FINALLY I asked to speak to a manager. Just to be told “nope they can’t ” I am sorry what!? Why can’t I speak to someone if it wasn’t your fault/issue/problem!? Mmmmm nope she said I got infuriated and said I wld call back another day to further discuss this issue w a manager on a different day! Read moreThis has always been a comfort food type of place for my family and myself. I stopped in Tuesday the 18th of February around 1045am, wanted aboit 4 minutes before I was even acknowledged by the two older ladies rolling silverware talking about other workers. When I was finally noticed it was after another customer came up to pay, she then told me she would be right with me, so I said I been waiting for 5 minutes now and that gentlemen just walked up to the register, shouldn't he be the one to wait. No response and kind of a snotty sigh. Another lady came over and sat me down. Ordered a water "to start" after my meal came, my water at that time was gone. It then took her another 15 minutes to realize I needed a refill and only because one of the other workers pointed it out to her. The place wasn't busy, and I shouldn't of had to wait that long for a water refill. Was never asked if I would like anything else to drink or if I would like a box or anything like it. Everyone has off days and I completely understand, however Tuesday morning and not busy I shouldn't of had to wait for 15 minutes for a refill of water.
